Call for Papers: The 8th Forum on the Theory and Practice of Ruling Party Building

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Organization Department of the Xiangyang Municipal Committee of the CPC will jointly host the "8th Forum on the Theory and Practice of Ruling Party Building" from May 28 to 30, 2021, in Xiangyang, Hubei Province. Academic colleagues and practitioners are sincerely invited to write papers around the forum's theme and attend the conference for discussion.

为庆祝中国共产党成立100周年，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、中国科学院大学、中共襄阳市委组织部将于2021年5月28日至30日在湖北襄阳联合主办“第八届执政党建设理论与实践论坛”，诚邀学界同仁和实务工作者围绕论坛主题撰写论文并拨冗赴会研讨。

1. The forum will not charge a registration fee. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip transportation and accommodation costs. Paper invitation letters can be collected on-site after the afternoon session on May 29.

2. Please submit papers and attendance confirmation forms to the email address djcass@sina.com before May 3, 2021. The conference affairs group will send formal invitations based on the quality of the manuscripts.

3. The forum selects participants based on submitted papers. After the conference, outstanding papers will be selected for publication in a collected volume or recommended to relevant core journals. The electronic file name of the paper should be "Author's Name + School (Unit) + Article Title." Submissions should choose their own topic and perspective around the theme, and must adhere to the correct political direction and academic orientation. Papers must be unpublished research results, preferably 6,000-10,000 words in length, compiled using Word software, and include 3-5 keywords and an abstract of no more than 300 words. Citations should use footnotes at the bottom of the page, with renumbering on each page. Please follow the publication format of the journal *Marxist Studies* [3]3 *Marxist Studies* (《马克思主义研究》) is a leading Chinese academic journal on Marxist theory, published by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. specifically. At the end of the text, please include personal information such as the author's biography, title, position, contact phone number, and email address.

3.论坛以文参会，会后将择优结集出版或推荐给有关核心期刊。论文电子版文件名为“作者姓名+学校（单位）+文章标题”。来稿请围绕主题自选题目、自选角度，务必坚持正确的政治方向和学术导向；论文须为未公开发表的研究成果，篇幅在6000-10000字为宜，请采用word软件编排，并附3-5个关键词和300字以内内容摘要，引文采用页下脚注，每页重新编号。具体请以《马克思主义研究》杂志的刊发格式为准。文末请附作者简介、职称、职务、联系电话、电子邮箱等个人信息。
