The China Science and Technology Museum primarily functions as a venue for science education. It not only popularizes scientific knowledge but also focuses on disseminating scientific thought, scientific methods, and the scientific spirit. Parents accompanied their children in visiting five major themed exhibition halls—“Science Paradise,” “The Glory of China,” “Exploration and Discovery,” “Technology and Life,” and “Challenges and the Future”—as well as multiple laboratories, classrooms, science lecture halls, multifunctional rooms, and temporary exhibition halls. While viewing the science and technology exhibits and displays, the children personally participated in scientific practices and experiments, deeply experiencing through interaction the integration and mutual influence of technological development and world scientific civilization, reflecting on the wisdom and creativity of the Chinese nation, and stimulating their interest and curiosity in science and technology.
