I. Introduction to the Unit

一、单位简介

The Institute of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Institute of Marxism), is a national-level Marxist research institution re-established on the basis of the former Institute of Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought, approved by a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee.

中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院（以下简称马研院），是经中央政治局常委会议批准、在原马克思列宁主义毛泽东思想研究所基础上重新组建的国家级马克思主义研究机构。

The Institute of Marxism currently comprises five research departments: the Research Department of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Research Department of Marxist Principles, the Research Department of Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context and the Needs of the Times, the Research Department of the International Communist Movement, and the Research Department of Marxist Studies Abroad. It has 18 research offices, including those for basic theory, basic strategy, Party building and Party history, ideology and social trends, Marxist philosophy, Marxist political economy, scientific socialism, the history of Marxist development, Mao Zedong Thought, the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, ideological and political education, Marxist atheism, the history of the international communist movement, contemporary world capitalism, contemporary world socialism, foreign left-wing thought, foreign communist party theory, and Western Marxism.

马研院现设习近平新时代中国特色社会主义研究部、马克思主义原理研究部、马克思主义中国化研究部、国际共产主义运动研究部、国外马克思主义研究部5个研究部,下设基本理论、基本方略、党建党史、意识形态与社会思潮、马克思主义哲学、马克思主义政治经济学、科学社会主义、马克思主义发展史、毛泽东思想、中国特色社会主义理论体系、思想政治教育、马克思主义无神论、国际共产主义运动史、当代世界资本主义、当代世界社会主义、国外左翼思想、国外共产党理论、西方马克思主义等18个研究室。

II. Basic Conditions for Recruitment

二、招聘人员基本条件

(1) Possess the nationality of the People's Republic of China and abide by the Constitution and laws of the People's Republic of China;

（一）具有中华人民共和国国籍，遵守中华人民共和国宪法和法律；

(2) Uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China, adhere to the correct political direction, academic orientation, and value orientation, and maintain a good academic style, moral cultivation, and professional ethics, with clean governance;

（二）拥护中国共产党的领导，坚持正确的政治方向、学术导向和价值取向，具有良好的学风、道德修养和职业操守，廉洁自律；

(3) Possess good professional ethics, love the work position, have a spirit of unity and cooperation, be upright, and have no violations of laws, regulations, or discipline;

（三）具有良好的职业道德，热爱工作岗位，有团结协作精神，为人正直，无违法违规违纪行为；

(4) Hold a doctoral degree and academic credentials, with recent graduates able to graduate on schedule and successfully obtain academic credentials and degrees certified by the national education authorities;

（四）具有博士学历学位，其中应届毕业生能如期毕业且顺利取得国家教育主管部门认证的学历、学位；

(5) Be proficient in at least one foreign language to the level of academic exchange;

（五）至少熟练掌握一门外语，并达到学术交流水平；

(6) Have the physical condition and psychological quality to perform duties normally, meet the job requirements, and ensure full-time on-the-job work during the contract period;

（六）具有正常履行职责的身体条件和心理素质，适应岗位要求，保证聘期内全职在岗工作；

(7) Age not exceeding 40 years old (born after January 1, 1982), with the age of domestic ordinary university recent graduates subject to relevant national and Beijing municipal requirements;

（七）年龄不超过40周岁（1982年1月1日后出生），其中国内普通高校应届毕业生年龄按国家和北京市有关要求执行；

(8) Other conditions stipulated by the state and our institute.

Domestic ordinary university recent doctoral graduates, postdoctoral researchers who have completed their station, and social personnel with Beijing household registration.

Possess a professional background in Marxist Theory (0305), Political Science (0302), or Foreign Languages and Literatures (0502).

The above professional reference catalog is the Ministry of Education's "Catalog of Disciplines and Majors for Doctoral and Master's Degree Granting and Graduate Student Cultivation (2008 Updated Version)." For those whose major is close but not listed in the above reference catalog, applicants may contact the recruitment unit to confirm their eligibility.

上述专业参照目录为教育部《授予博士、硕士学位和培养研究生的学科、专业目录（2008更新版）》。对于所学专业接近但不在上述参考目录中的，应聘人员可与招聘单位联系，确认报名资格。

V. Job Responsibilities

五、岗位职责

(1) Dedicate oneself to academic research work on Marxism.

（一）致力于马克思主义学术研究工作。

(2) Undertake various research tasks assigned by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Institute of Marxism.

（二）承担中国社会科学院及马克思主义研究院交办的各项科研任务。

(3) Publish at least one academic paper annually in core journals and undergo contract period assessment according to the contract.

（三）每年在核心期刊发表至少1篇学术论文，按照合同进行聘期考核。

(4) Actively participate in professional study and training, and go down to the grassroots to understand actual conditions, etc.

（四）积极参加业务学习和培训，深入基层了解实际等。

VI. Recruitment Procedure

六、招聘程序

(1) Release of Recruitment Information: The recruitment information is released from the date of publication until December 31, 2021.

（一）发布招聘信息：招聘信息发布之日起至2021年12月31日。

(2) Qualification Review: Conduct qualification review according to the recruitment conditions determined in the recruitment announcement, determine candidates for the examination, and notify applicants. Those who do not pass the qualification review will not be notified further. The ratio of the number of people passing the qualification review to the number of positions recruited should generally reach 3:1 for the examination to proceed. If this ratio is not met, the situation will be considered to decide whether to reduce the number of recruits or cancel the recruitment.

（二）资格审查：按照招聘公告确定的招聘条件进行资格审查，确定参加考试人选并通知应聘人员,未通过资格审查的，不再另行通知。通过资格审查的人数与该岗位招聘人数的比例原则上达到3:1方可开考。达不到该比例的，视情况决定减少招聘人数或取消招聘。

(3) Examination: The examination is conducted in the form of a written test, with a full score of 100 points and a passing score of 60 points. Those who reach the passing score will participate in the professional review.

（三）考试：考试采取笔试方式进行，满分100分，合格分数线60分，达到合格分数线以上的人员参加业务考察。

(4) Professional Review: The professional review is conducted by a joint meeting of members of the Academic Committee and the Appointment Committee of the Institute of Marxism. The procedure follows personal presentation, question-and-answer defense, expert evaluation, and voting. Applicants must generally obtain more than two-thirds of the votes of the experts actually present. Based on the number of votes, candidates for the next stage are determined in a 1:1 ratio to the positions. If the number of people obtaining more than two-thirds of the votes exceeds the number of recruits, the candidates for the next stage are determined in descending order of votes. If votes are tied, the examination score is used as the basis for ranking.

（四）业务考察：由马研院学术委员会成员和聘用委员会成员共同召开会议进行业务考察。按照个人陈述、提问答辩、专家评议、投票表决的程序进行。应聘人员原则上需获得实际到会专家人数2/3以上赞成票，根据得票数量多少，按照岗位1:1比例，确定进入下一阶段人选；若获得2/3以上赞成票的人数超过招聘人数，根据得票数量由高到低顺序确定下一阶段人选，若票数相同以考试成绩为排序依据。

(5) Internship: Arrange for applicants to undergo an internship of no less than 2 weeks to confirm whether they are suitable for the job requirements.

（五）实习：安排应聘人员进行不少于2周的实习，确认是否适应岗位工作要求。

(6) Medical Examination: For those who pass the internship, arrange for applicants to undergo a medical examination at a designated hospital. The medical examination standards refer to the general standards for civil servant recruitment medical examinations. At the same time, conduct psychological health tests for applicants.

（六）体检：实习合格的，安排应聘人员到指定医院进行体检，体检标准参照公务员录用体检通用标准执行，同时对应聘人员进行心理健康测试。

(7) Political Investigation: For those who pass the medical examination, conduct a re-examination of the applicant's qualifications and a political investigation.

（七）政治考察：体检合格的，对应聘人员进行应聘资格复审和政治考察。

If the proposed candidate withdraws or the position vacancy is caused by failure in the internship, medical examination, or political investigation, after study, it may be considered to arrange replacements in order of the number of votes from among those who obtained more than two-thirds of the votes in the professional review for the position, or no replacement may be made and the number of recruits for that position may be correspondingly reduced.

因拟聘人选放弃或实习、体检、政治考察不合格等原因造成岗位应聘人员空缺，经研究，可视情况从岗位业务考察获得2/3以上赞成票的人中按得票数量高低依次安排递补，或不再递补并相应减少该岗位招聘数量。

Due to the impact of the epidemic, the order of procedures such as internship, medical examination, and political investigation may be adjusted according to actual circumstances.

因疫情影响，实习、体检、政治考察等程序可视实际情况调整先后顺序。

(8) The Party Committee of the Institute of Marxism collectively studies and decides on the proposed candidate: Based on a comprehensive assessment of the examination, professional review, medical examination, internship, and political investigation, the Party Committee collectively studies and decides on the proposed candidate.

（八）马研院党委集体研究决定拟聘人选：综合考试、业务考察、体检、实习、政治考察等情况，党委集体研究决定拟聘人选。

(9) Public Announcement: Publicize the situation of the proposed candidate in the channels where the recruitment announcement was released for no less than 7 working days.

（九）公示：在招聘发布公告渠道对拟聘人选情况进行不少于7个工作日的公示。

(10) Report to the Personnel and Education Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences for Filing: The Personnel and Education Bureau reviews the qualifications, appointment procedures, etc., of the proposed candidate, and files those that meet the requirements.

（十）报中国社会科学院人事教育局备案：人事教育局审核拟聘人选资格条件、聘用程序等，对符合规定的予以备案。

(11) Handle Onboarding Procedures: After filing with the Personnel and Education Bureau, the personnel department of the Institute of Marxism is responsible for signing an employment contract with the hired personnel, clarifying the tasks and objectives of the contract period, and handling the procedures for reporting to the institute.

（十一）办理入职手续：人事教育局备案后，由马研院人事部门负责与聘用人员签订聘用合同，明确聘期目标任务，办理入院报到手续。
