The Sinicization Party Branch Holds an Organizational Life Meeting

On the afternoon of January 20, 2022, the Sinicization Party Branch held an organizational life meeting (enlarged branch meeting) in Conference Room 1237. Participants included the institute leadership liaising with the Sinicization branch, all Party members, and three activists. Branch Secretary He Xinyuan chaired the meeting, and Vice President Lin Jianhua attended and delivered remarks.

He Xinyuan reported on the overall work of the Sinicization branch in 2021. Vice President Lin Jianhua put forward requirements and expectations for the work of the Sinicization branch, including every Party member and activist, from three aspects. First, raise the political stance, maintain the theoretical orientation, and implement the "dual responsibility" system [1]1 "Selected Works of Mao Zedong" refers to the officially compiled collection of Mao Zedong's major writings, a foundational text for studying Mao Zedong Thought within the CPC.. Second, make full use of the broad platforms of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Academy of Marxism, focus on hot issues and major theoretical and practical problems, and do a good job of researching, interpreting, and propagating Marxist

贺新元汇报了中国化支部2021年的整体工作情况。林建华副院长从三个方面对中国化支部包括每一位党员和积极分子的工作都提出要求和希望。一是提高政治站位，保持理论定位，贯彻“一岗双责”制度；二是充分利用社科院和马研院的宽阔平台，聚焦热点和重大理论、现实问题，做好对马克思主义理论、习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的研究、阐释、宣传；三是强化团队意识，合力攻关，提高执行力，在出拔尖人才的同时，确保不使一人掉队；四是科学规划，做到心中有数，强优势、补弱项，实现可持续发展。他强调，每个党员都要走在先、做表率，同时积极帮扶科研适应能力较弱的同志。

支委会委员沈阳、黄艳红、朱继东都从支部工作、党员标准和研究室工作等方面汇报了自己一年来的工作情况，沈阳表示2022年进一步做好研究室的团结工作，增强凝聚力；黄艳红表示要转变工作思路，做好谋划和沟通协调工作；朱继东表示要进一步探索通过重读“毛选”活动将党小组活动和研究室工作结合起来，多出成果。

Other Party comrades and applicants for Party membership summarized their work over the past year, engaged in criticism and self-criticism, and also put forward ideas for work in 2022. While affirming the branch's work in 2021, they also offered suggestions for the work plan in 2022. For example, Qin Yicheng proposed inheriting the Party's fine tradition of criticism and self-criticism, while also paying attention to the art of criticism; Fang Tao proposed that comrades in the Sinicization Department had undertaken a lot of work, including various assigned tasks, which should be reflected in a timely manner; Peng Haihong suggested carrying forward the fine traditions of the Sinicization Department, going out more to carry out activities, providing more opportunities for young people to showcase themselves, and at the same time strengthening emotional communication to further enhance the cohesion of the Sinicization Department; Zhang Jiansong suggested that the branch carry out pairing activities to help comrades who publish fewer articles; Meng Qingyou suggested that the branch organize a visit to the Party History Exhibition Hall for study; Han Qi suggested that the branch carry out one or two highlight activities each year, using display boards and other forms for publicity, and so on. Branch Secretary He Xinyuan provided targeted comments on each Party member's summary and self-criticism, and put forward relevant suggestions.

其他党员同志和入党积极分子对自己一年来的工作进行了总结，开展了批评与自我批评，也对2022年的工作提出设想。大家在对支部2021年的工作进行肯定的同时，也对2022年的工作计划提出建议。如，秦益成提出，要继承党的批评与自我批评的优良传统，同时也要注意批评的艺术；方涛提出中国化部同志承担了不少工作，包括各种交办工作，应及时反映出来；彭海红建议发扬中国化部优良传统，多走出去开展活动，给年轻人多提供展示的机会，同时要多加强情感沟通，进一步增强中国化部的凝聚力；张俭松建议支部开展结对子活动，帮扶发文章少的同志；孟庆友建议支部组织去党史展览馆参观学习；韩琪建议支部每年开展1-2次亮点活动，用展板等形式进行一定的宣传，等等。支部书记贺新元对每位党员的总结与自我批评进行了针对性的点评，并提出相关建议。

In his concluding remarks at the meeting, He Xinyuan pointed out: First, the forms of themed Party day activities in 2022 can be made more flexible and diverse, including carrying them out in the form of Party groups; the "Selected Works of Mao Zedong" reading group can be expanded to the Sinicization Department, encouraging young comrades to combine laying a solid theoretical foundation with publishing articles; the "micro-salons" of the Chinese Characteristics Theory Research Office should be launched as soon as possible; the department's academic report meetings should take on new forms. Second, every Party member and applicant for Party membership must actively uphold the collective honor, creating a good atmosphere for scientific research and work, so that every member can benefit from it. Third, the sense of time must be strengthened; assigned tasks must be completed on time and with quality, and collective work should not be delayed because one person misses the deadline. Fourth, research office directors must assume the responsibility of team building, play their roles well, and actively do a good job of attendance. Fifth, the Academy of Marxism is not only a research institution but also a political organ; every scientific researcher must effectively implement the "one post, two responsibilities" system [2]2 "One post, two responsibilities" is a CPC internal governance principle requiring that a cadre in a leadership position is responsible both for their primary work duties and for Party building and clean governance in their unit.. Sixth, carry forward the fine traditions of the Sinicization Department, not only "going down, going in, and going out" [3]3 "Going down, going in, and going out" is a colloquial shorthand for a work method: going down to the grassroots, going deep into research, and going out to engage with society., but also "bringing up" [4]4 "Bringing up" here means elevating or promoting younger comrades to take on more responsibility and develop their capabilities., so that young people can grow up as quickly as possible.

贺新元在会议总结时指出，第一，2022年的主题党日活动形式可以搞得更加灵活多样，包括以党小组的形式开展；“毛选”读书会可以扩大至中国化部，鼓励年轻同志将打好理论基础与发表文章结合起来；中特室的“微沙龙”要尽快启动起来；部学术报告会要有新形式。第二，每一位党员和入党积极分子都要积极维护集体荣誉，创造一个良好的科研与工作氛围，使每位成员都能从中受益。第三，要增强时间观念，布置的任务要按时按质完成，不要因为一个人误时而影响集体工作。第四，研究室主任要承担团队建设的职责，发挥好作用，并积极做好考勤工作。第五，马克思主义研究院既是研究机构，也是政治机关，每个科研人员都要切实贯彻好“一岗双责”制度。第六，发扬中国化部的优良传统，不仅要“走下去，走进去，走出去”，还要“提上来”，使年轻人尽快成长起来。
