Research Office of the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics Holds “Academic Micro-Salon” Discussion Activity

In order to implement the requirement of the Party Committee of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences that research personnel carry out academic activities on the day they return to the institute, and to enhance academic exchange and cooperation among research personnel, the Research Office of the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics under the Research Department of Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context explored and designed the “Academic Micro-Salon” discussion activity format. On March 3, 2022, the Research Office of the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics conducted the first session of the “Academic Micro-Salon” activity.

为贯彻落实中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院党委关于做好科研人员返所日开展学术活动的要求，增进科研人员之间的学术交流与合作，马克思主义中国化研究部中国特色社会主义理论体系研究室探索设计了“学术微沙龙”研讨活动形式。2022年3月3日，中国特色社会主义理论体系研究室开展了第1期“学术微沙龙”活动。

This session of the “Academic Micro-Salon” discussion activity was led by Shen Yang, Director of the Research Office of the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, as the main speaker. Personnel from the Research Office participated in the activity, and He Xinyuan, Deputy Director of the Research Department of Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context, provided guidance throughout the event.

Shen Yang gave an explanation centered on hot and focal issues such as the Russia-Ukraine situation, the theory of the reunification of the motherland under socialism with Chinese characteristics, and whole-process people’s democracy. He focused on key issues, expressed his own views, and clarified the format, theme setting, and agenda arrangement of the “Academic Micro-Salon” discussion activity. After the thematic explanation, members of the Research Office engaged in in-depth and extensive discussion around the main topics. He Xinyuan offered comments on this academic activity, expressed unique insights on related topics, and made suggestions for enriching the forms of the “Academic Micro-Salon” activity.

沈阳围绕着俄乌局势、中国特色社会主义祖国统一理论、全过程人民民主等热点焦点议题进行了讲解，聚焦重点问题发表了自己的见解，并就“学术微沙龙”研讨活动的开展形式、主题设定、议程安排等作了说明。主题讲解后，研究室成员围绕着本次主要议题进行了深入广泛讨论。贺新元对本次学术活动进行了点评，就相关话题发表了独到见解，并对丰富“学术微沙龙”活动形式等提出了建议。

In the future, the Research Office of the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics will continue to carry out the “Academic Micro-Salon” activity, gradually forming a normalized and long-term mechanism. On the basis of enriching the forms of the activity, it will promote the transformation of discussion outcomes, strive to produce a batch of academic achievements based on the characteristics of this Research Office and Research Department, contribute to the construction of the disciplinary system, academic system, and discourse system of the theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics, and continuously intensify research efforts on the deep integration of basic theory and applied countermeasures.

今后，中国特色社会主义理论体系研究室将继续开展“学术微沙龙”活动，逐步形成常态化、长效化活动机制，并在丰富活动形式的基础上推进研讨成果的转化，力争基于本研究室和研究部特色形成一批学术成果，助力中国特色社会主义理论学科体系、学术体系、话语体系建设，持续加大对基础理论和应用对策深度融合的研究力度。
