Call for Papers for the 12th Academic Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context

In order to welcome the victorious convening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC, deepen theoretical research and propaganda interpretation of the century-long glorious course of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, strengthen academic exchange among researchers nationwide on adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and on socialism with Chinese characteristics, consolidate the theoretical research contingent on adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, and promote disciplinary construction of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, it is proposed to hold the 12th Academic Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context, organized by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, from May 6 to 8, 2022, in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. The convening of the forum will be determined in light of changes in the epidemic situation.

为迎接党的二十大胜利召开，深入学习贯彻党的十九届六中全会精神，深化马克思主义中国化百年光辉历程的理论研究和宣传阐释，加强全国马克思主义中国化研究工作者、中国特色社会主义研究工作者的学术交流，凝聚马克思主义中国化理论研究队伍，推动马克思主义中国化学科建设，拟定于2022年5月6日至8日在江西省赣州市举办中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院第十二届马克思主义中国化学术论坛，会议召开视疫情变化确定。

The forum is jointly organized by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the School of Marxism of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Gannan Normal University. The theme of the forum is "Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the New Leap in Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context." The forum, integrating the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC, will focus on the glorious course of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, further deeply study the main contents of Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the Important Thought of Three Represents, the Scientific Outlook on Development, and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, with emphasis on deepening research and interpretation of "the Two Integrations" and "the Two Establishments," continuously promoting research on the new leap in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context to go deeper and more solid.

论坛由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、中国社科院大学马克思主义学院与赣南师范大学联合举办。论坛的主题是“习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想与马克思主义中国化新飞跃”。论坛结合党的十九届六中全会精神，围绕马克思主义中国化的光辉历程，进一步深入研究毛泽东思想、邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想、科学发展观以及习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想等主要内容，重点深化对“两个结合”“两个确立”的研究阐释，不断推动马克思主义中国化新飞跃研究走深走实。

The forum is hosted by the Department of Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the School of Marxism of Gannan Normal University, and the Research Center for the Revolutionary Spirit of the Communist Party of China and Cultural Resources of Gannan Normal University, and co-organized by journals including *Studies on Marxism*, *World Socialism Studies*, *Frontline* magazine of the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC, *Journal of Red Culture*, and *Theory and Review*.

论坛由中国社会科学院马研院马克思主义中国化部、赣南师范大学马克思主义学院、赣南师范大学中国共产党革命精神研究与文化资源研究中心承办，由《马克思主义研究》《世界社会主义研究》、中共北京市委《前线》杂志、《红色文化学刊》《理论与评论》等杂志协办。

We are now soliciting academic papers nationwide. Experts, scholars, teachers, and other teaching and research personnel in the research fields of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and socialism with Chinese characteristics are welcome to attend the forum with their papers. The relevant matters concerning the call for papers are hereby notified as follows:

现面向全国征集学术论文，欢迎马克思主义中国化、中国特色社会主义等研究领域的专家、学者、教师等教研人员以文赴会。现将征文有关事项通知如下：

I. Forum

一、论坛主题：“习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想与马克思主义中国化新飞跃”

II. Forum Dates: May 6 to 8, 2022 (specific dates may change depending on the national epidemic prevention and control situation)

二、论坛时间：2022年5月6日至8日（根据全国疫情防控状况具体时间可能会有变化）

III. Forum Location: Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province

三、论坛地点：江西省赣州市

IV. Relevant Explanations: The conference will not charge a registration fee; meal expenses during the conference will be covered by the organizers; transportation and accommodation expenses are to be borne by participants themselves.

四、有关说明：会议不收取会务费，会议期间餐饮费由主办方负责；交通费、住宿费自理。

1. Manuscript Requirements: Adhere to the correct political direction, closely follow the theme, provide ample materials, present thorough reasoning, and highlight academic rigor; must be the result of independent research, not previously published; length should be 8,000–10,000 characters, with 3–5 keywords and an abstract of no more than 300 characters; citations and historical sources must be accurate and rigorous, with sources indicated (format should follow *Marxist Studies*); at the end of the text, please include the author’s biography, email address, phone number, and WeChat ID.

1.文稿要求：坚持正确的政治方向，紧扣主题，材料翔实，说理充分，突出学术性；必须是独立研究的成果，此前未公开发表；篇幅以8000-10000字为宜，并附3-5个关键词和300字以内的内容摘要；引文和史料准确严谨，并请注明出处（格式请参照《马克思主义研究》）；文末请附作者简介、电子邮箱、联系电话、微信号码等信息。

2. Submission Method: Please send the electronic version of the paper (WORD format: name + article title + 12th Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context) to the email address: mkszyzghlt2022@163.com. Do not submit a printed version of the paper.

3. Deadline: April 10, 2022. After preliminary selection by the forum preparation team, experts will be organized to review the papers. By the end of April, authors of selected papers will be invited to join a WeChat work group, and a conference invitation letter will be sent within the group.
