Call for Papers for the 14th National Forum of Marxist Deans

2022 is a key year in which the Communist Party of China, on the basis of completing the First Centenary Goal [1]1 The First Centenary Goal refers to the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in all respects by the centenary of the founding of the CPC in 2021., leads the people of the whole country in embarking on the new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country. In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC [2]2 The Sixth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the CPC, held in November 2021, adopted a landmark resolution on the Party’s history and achievements., deeply study and expound Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, deepen research on theoretical and practical issues such as contemporary Chinese Marxism, 21st-century Marxism, the essence of the times of Chinese culture and the Chinese spirit, and the new leap in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context achieved by Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and to welcome the victorious convening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC [3]3 The 20th National Congress of the CPC was held in October 2022, at which Xi Jinping, the “14th National Forum of Marxist Deans,” jointly hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Jilin University, and co-organized by the School of Marxism of the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the School of Marxism of Jilin University, is scheduled to be held at Jilin University in mid-to-late July 2022. The theme of the forum is “Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era: A New Leap in Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context.”

2022年是中国共产党领导全国人民完成第一个百年奋斗目标基础上，开启全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程的关键年。为深入贯彻落实党的十九届六中全会精神，深入研究阐释习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，深化对当代中国马克思主义、21世纪马克思主义，中华文化和中国精神的时代精华，习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想实现了马克思主义中国化新的飞跃等理论问题与实践问题的研究，迎接党的二十大胜利召开，由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院和吉林大学联合主办，中国社会科学院大学马克思主义学院和吉林大学马克思主义学院共同承办的“第十四届全国马克思主义院长论坛”，拟于2022年7月中下旬在吉林大学举行，论坛主题为“习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想：马克思主义中国化新的飞跃”。

We sincerely invite teaching and research personnel from national research institutions, institutions of higher education, and Party and government departments to contribute papers. Requirements for submissions:

现诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学和研究人员积极投稿。稿件要求：

1. Correct stance, clear theme, rigorous logic, integration of historical facts and theory, reflecting academic quality and innovation, with high theoretical and practical value.

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值。

2. The paper must be an unpublished new work, with a word count of no less than 8,000 characters. An abstract (approximately 300 characters), keywords (3-5), and the author’s brief biography and detailed contact information should be attached at the end of the paper.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数不少于8000字，正文前附内容摘要（300字左右）、关键词（3-5个）、在文尾附作者简介及详细联系方式。

This forum adopts a paper-based participation method. The deadline for paper submission is May 30, 2022. The electronic version of the paper should be sent in WORD format to the email address: mnsh2019@163.com (Contact person: Teacher Yang, Academy of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences). After evaluation by the expert review committee, invitation letters will be sent to selected participants before June 20. Excellent papers will be recommended to journals such as *Marxist Studies* and *Studies on World Socialism*.

本次论坛采取以文入会方式，论文投稿截止日期为2022年5月30日。论文电子版请以WORD文档形式发送至电子邮箱：mnsh2019@163.com（联系人：中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院杨老师）。投稿论文经专家评审委员会评选后，于6月20日前向入选者发出会议邀请函。优秀论文将向《马克思主义研究》《世界社会主义研究》等期刊进行推荐。
