Call for Papers: The Ninth Forum on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era

Jointly hosted by the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Research Center for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences, and organized by the Research Department for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era of the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Institute of Marxism of the Yunnan Academy of Social Sciences, and the Yunnan Demonstration Base for Studying, Propagating, and Implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the "Ninth Forum on Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era" will be held in Kunming, Yunnan, in mid-to-late June 2022. Colleagues are cordially invited to write papers on the conference theme and to attend the forum for discussion.

由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、中国社会科学院习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想研究中心、云南省社会科学院联合主办，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想研究部、云南省社会科学院马克思主义研究院、云南省学习宣传贯彻习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想示范基地承办的“第九届习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想论坛”，将于2022年6月中下旬在云南昆明召开，诚邀广大同仁围绕会议主题撰写论文并拨冗赴会研讨。

1. The conference will not charge a registration fee. Participating representatives shall bear their own round-trip transportation and accommodation expenses. Paper invitation letters will be distributed at the conference venue.

2. Papers and attendance confirmation forms should be sent to the email address 13769185606@139.com before May 10, 2022. The conference affairs group will send formal invitations based on the circumstances.

3. The seminar will be based on submitted papers; after the conference, selected papers will be compiled and published. The electronic file name of the paper should be "Author's Name + Institution + Article Title." Submissions should select their own topics around the theme and the above content, and must adhere to the correct political orientation. Papers must be unpublished research results. Manuscripts should be submitted in Word electronic format, with a length not exceeding 8,000 words, and should include 3–5 keywords and an abstract of no more than 300 words. Citations should use page footnotes, with footnotes in Song font, small five-point size, renumbered on each page. The format should follow that of *Studies on Marxism* [4]4 *Studies on Marxism* (《马克思主义研究》) is a leading Chinese academic journal on Marxist theory, published by the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.. At the end of the text, please include the author's brief biography, title and position, contact phone number, email address, and other personal information.

3. 研讨会以文赴会，会后将择优结集出版。论文电子版文件名为“作者姓名+学校+文章标题”。来稿请围绕主题和上述内容自选题目，务须坚持正确的政治方向；论文须为未公开发表的科研成果，文稿请采用word电子版，字数以不超过8000字为宜，并附3—5个关键词和300字以内内容摘要，引文采用页下脚注，脚注为宋体小五号字，每页重新编号。具体请以《马克思主义研究》的刊发格式为准。文末请附作者简介、职称职务、联系电话、电子邮箱等个人信息。
