Call for Papers: Academic Forum on “Thoroughly Studying and Implementing the Guiding Principles of the 20th National Congress of the CPC”

The 20th National Congress of the CPC was a congress of great importance held at a critical moment when the entire Party and the people of all ethnic groups in the country are embarking on a new journey of comprehensively building a modern socialist country and advancing toward the second centenary goal. [1]1 The “second centenary goal” refers to the goal of building China into a modern socialist country that is prosperous, strong, democratic, culturally advanced, and harmonious by the middle of the 21st century, the centenary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. In order to deeply grasp the great significance of the convening of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, thoroughly study and implement its guiding principles, systematically research and elucidate Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and enhance academic exchange among researchers of Marxist theory and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era nationwide, the Academic Forum on “Thoroughly Studying and Implementing the Guiding Principles of the 20th National Congress of the CPC,” co-hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Jiangnan University, is scheduled to be held at Jiangnan University from December 2 to 4, 2022. We now invite papers from academic colleagues across the country, and welcome everyone to attend the forum with their papers.

党的二十大是在全党全国各族人民迈上全面建设社会主义现代化国家新征程、向第二个百年奋斗目标进军的关键时刻召开的一次十分重要的大会。为深刻领会党的二十大召开的重大意义、深入学习贯彻党的二十大精神、系统研究阐释习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，增进全国马克思主义理论研究和习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想研究工作者的学术交流，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院与江南大学共同主办的“深入学习贯彻党的二十大精神”学术论坛，拟于2022年12月2日至4日在江南大学举行。现面向全国学界同仁征集论文，欢迎大家以文赴会。

This forum adopts a paper-based participation method and sincerely invites teaching and research personnel from national research institutions, universities, and Party and government departments to actively submit papers.

本次论坛采取以文入会方式，诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学和研究人员积极投稿。

Submission Requirements:

稿件要求：

1. The paper must have a correct stance, a clear theme, rigorous logic, and a combination of historical and theoretical analysis, reflecting academic quality and innovation, with high theoretical and practical value;

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值；

2. The paper must be an unpublished new work, no less than 8,000 words in length, using footnotes at the bottom of the page, specifically following the publication format of *Studies on Marxism*. It should include an abstract (approximately 300 words), keywords (3-5), and the author’s biography and detailed contact information before the main text.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数不少于8000字，采用页下脚注，具体请以《马克思主义研究》的刊发格式为准。正文前附内容摘要（300字左右）、关键词（3-5个），作者简介及详细联系方式。

This forum does not charge a registration fee; transportation, accommodation, and other expenses during the conference are to be borne by the participants. After evaluation by the expert review committee, the conference team will send invitation letters to selected authors before November 15. The conference will also select outstanding papers for recommendation to *Studies on Marxism* and *Studies on World Socialism* for publication.

本次论坛不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。经专家评审委员会评选后,会务组将在11月15日前向入选作者发出会议邀请函。会议还将遴选优秀论文向《马克思主义研究》《世界社会主义研究》推荐发表。
