2022 Key Publication for Themed Publishing: “Ten Persistences” Series Published and Released

The 2022 key publication for themed publishing, the “Ten Persistences” series, was recently published and released by the People’s Daily Press. This series, centered on the historical experience of the Communist Party of China’s century-long struggle, invites ten experts and scholars from the field of philosophy and social sciences to conduct research and interpretation at the academic level, providing a useful reference for the broad readership, especially Party members and leading cadres, to deeply study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and to profoundly grasp the great significance, scientific connotation, and contemporary requirements of the “Ten Persistences” historical experience.

2022年主题出版重点出版物“十个坚持”丛书近日由人民日报出版社出版发行。该丛书围绕中国共产党百年奋斗的历史经验，邀请哲学社会科学领域十位专家学者从学术层面进行研究阐释，为广大读者特别是党员领导干部深入学习贯彻党的二十大精神，深刻领会“十个坚持”历史经验的重大意义、科学内涵、时代要求提供有益参考。

The “Ten Persistences” series closely revolves around the Party’s ten historical experiences from its century-long struggle for research, publicity, and interpretation, with a profound conceptual foundation. It specifically includes ten volumes: *Persist in the Party’s Leadership*, *Persist in Putting the People First*, *Persist in Theoretical Innovation*, *Persist in Independence and Self-Reliance*, *Persist in the Chinese Path*, *Persist in Embracing the World with a Broad Vision*, *Persist in Pioneering and Innovating*, *Persist in Daring to Struggle*, *Persist in the United Front*, and *Persist in Self-Revolution*. The series adheres to a combination of history and reality, theory and practice, and domestic and international perspectives. It offers both a comprehensive review and key demonstration of the Party’s century-long great achievements, a systematic summary and specific analysis of valuable experiences, and methods and pathways for long-term adherence and continuous enrichment and development of the “Ten Persistences” historical experience in the practice of the New Era. This provides the broad readership, especially Party members and leading cadres, with a full understanding of the great significance of the Party’s century-long historical experience.

“十个坚持”丛书紧紧围绕党的百年十条历史经验进行研究宣传阐释，立意深刻，具体包括《坚持党的领导》《坚持人民至上》《坚持理论创新》《坚持独立自主》《坚持中国道路》《坚持胸怀天下》《坚持开拓创新》《坚持敢于斗争》《坚持统一战线》《坚持自我革命》十册。丛书坚持历史与现实、理论与实践、国内与国际相结合，既有对党的百年奋斗伟大成就的全面回顾与重点展示，又有对宝贵经验的系统总结与具体分析，还有在新时代实践中长期坚持并不断丰富发展“十个坚持”历史经验的方法与路径，为广大读者特别是党员领导干部充分认识党的百年历史经验的重大意义。

According to reports, this series is prefaced by Wang Weiguang, a member of the Standing Committee of the 13th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and director of the Committee on Ethnic and Religious Affairs. The ten authors—Feng Yanli, Chen Jinlong, Guo Jianning, Wang Yonggui, Xin Ming, Chen Shuguang, Liu Zhiming, Zhang Hao, Zhang Xiansheng, and Zhao Zhouxian—are all renowned experts and scholars in the field of philosophy and social sciences in China. The series possesses both theoretical depth and academic thickness, as well as the breadth and warmth of being explained in simple terms. It has a positive effect and plays an important role in telling China’s story in academic language, achieving a thorough understanding, practical application, and deep mastery of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era at the theoretical level, and in striving to construct a disciplinary system, academic system, and discourse system for philosophy and social sciences with Chinese characteristics.
