I. Introduction to the Institution

一、单位简介

The Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (hereinafter referred to as the Academy of Marxism) is a national-level Marxist research institution, approved by a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and re-established on the basis of the former Institute of Marxism-Leninism-Mao Zedong Thought.

中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院（以下简称马研院），是经中央政治局常委会议批准、在原马克思列宁主义毛泽东思想研究所基础上重新组建的国家级马克思主义研究机构。

The Academy of Marxism currently comprises five research departments: the Research Department for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the Research Department for the Principles of Marxism, the Research Department for Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context and the Needs of the Times, the Research Department for the International Communist Movement, and the Research Department for the Study of Marxism Abroad. Under these, there are 18 research offices, including those for Basic Theory, Basic Strategy, Party Building and Party History, Ideology and Social Trends, Marxist Philosophy, Marxist Political Economy, Scientific Socialism, the History of the Development of Marxism, Mao Zedong Thought, the Theoretical System of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics, Ideological and Political Education, Marxist Atheism, the History of the International Communist Movement, Contemporary World Capitalism, Contemporary World Socialism, Foreign Left-Wing Thought, Theories of Foreign Communist Parties, and Western Marxism.

马研院现设习近平新时代中国特色社会主义研究部、马克思主义原理研究部、马克思主义中国化研究部、国际共产主义运动研究部、国外马克思主义研究部5个研究部,下设基本理论、基本方略、党建党史、意识形态与社会思潮、马克思主义哲学、马克思主义政治经济学、科学社会主义、马克思主义发展史、毛泽东思想、中国特色社会主义理论体系、思想政治教育、马克思主义无神论、国际共产主义运动史、当代世界资本主义、当代世界社会主义、国外左翼思想、国外共产党理论、西方马克思主义等18个研究室。

II. Basic Conditions for Recruitment

二、招聘人员基本条件

(1) Possess the nationality of the People’s Republic of China and abide by the Constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China.

（一）具有中华人民共和国国籍，遵守中华人民共和国宪法和法律。

(2) Uphold the leadership of the Communist Party of China, adhere to the correct political direction, academic orientation, and value orientation, and maintain good academic conduct, moral cultivation, and professional ethics, with clean governance.

（二）拥护中国共产党的领导，坚持正确的政治方向、学术导向和价值取向，具有良好的学风、道德修养和职业操守，廉洁自律。

(3) Possess good professional ethics, love the work post, have a spirit of unity and cooperation, be upright, and have no violations of laws, regulations, or discipline.

（三）具有良好的职业道德，热爱工作岗位，有团结协作精神，为人正直，无违法违规违纪行为。

(4) Hold a doctoral degree and academic credentials. Domestic fresh graduates must be able to graduate on schedule and successfully obtain academic degrees and credentials certified by the competent national education authorities. Overseas returnees must be able to provide materials certifying their status and experience as overseas students. Be proficient in one foreign language (English must be at Level 6 or above), reaching the level for academic exchange.

（四）具有博士学历学位，其中国内应届毕业生能如期毕业且顺利取得国家教育主管部门认证的学历、学位，留学人员能提供认定留学人员身份和经历的证明材料。熟练掌握一门外语（英语需六级以上），达到学术交流水平。

(5) Have the physical and psychological conditions necessary to perform duties normally, adapt to the requirements of the post, and guarantee full-time work at the Academy during the employment period.

（五）具有正常履行职责的身体条件和心理素质，适应岗位要求，保证聘期内全职在院工作。

(6) Age generally not exceeding 35 years old (born after January 1, 1988); for particularly outstanding candidates, the maximum may be relaxed to 40 years old (born after January 1, 1983).

（六）年龄一般不超过35周岁（1988年1月1日后出生），特别优秀的最多可放宽至40周岁（1983年1月1日后出生）。

III. Scope of Recruitment

Domestic fresh doctoral graduates (with non-Beijing household registration), domestic fresh doctoral graduates (with Beijing household registration), social personnel with Beijing household registration, and postdoctoral researchers who have completed their station.

The above specialty codes refer to the catalogues: the Ministry of Education’s “Catalogue of Disciplines and Specialties for Doctoral and Master’s Degree Conferral and Graduate Student Cultivation (2008 Updated Edition)” and the “Catalogue of Disciplines and Specialties for Graduate Education (2022).” For specialties close to but not listed in the above reference catalogues, applicants may contact the recruiting unit to confirm their eligibility.

上述专业代码参照目录为教育部《授予博士、硕士学位和培养研究生的学科、专业目录（2008更新版）》《研究生教育学科专业目录（2022年）》。对于所学专业接近但不在上述参考目录中的，应聘人员可与招聘单位联系，确认报名资格。

V. Job Responsibilities

五、岗位职责

(1) Dedicate oneself to academic research work on Marxism.

（一）致力于马克思主义学术研究工作。

(2) Undertake various research tasks assigned by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Academy of Marxism.

（二）承担中国社会科学院及马克思主义研究院交办的各项科研任务。

(3) Publish at least one academic paper annually in core journals, and undergo performance assessments according to the contract.

（三）每年在核心期刊发表至少1篇学术论文，按照合同进行聘期考核。

(4) Actively participate in professional study and training, and go down to the grassroots to understand actual conditions, among other tasks.

（四）积极参加业务学习和培训，深入基层了解实际等。

VI. Recruitment Procedure

六、招聘程序

(1) Online application: The application period runs from the date of publication of the recruitment information until February 17, 2023.

（一）网上报名：报名时间为招聘信息发布之日起至2023年2月17日。

(2) Qualification review: Conduct qualification review in accordance with the requirements of the recruitment announcement, determine candidates for the examination, and notify applicants. Those who do not pass the qualification review will not be further notified. The ratio of the number of applicants passing the qualification review to the number of positions recruited shall, in principle, reach 3:1 before the examination can proceed. If this ratio is not met, the situation will be studied to decide whether to reduce the number of recruits or cancel the recruitment.

（二）资格审查：按照招聘公告要求进行资格审查，确定参加考试人选并通知应聘人员,未通过资格审查的，不再另行通知。通过资格审查的人数与该岗位招聘人数的比例原则上达到3:1方可开考。达不到该比例的，视情况研究决定减少招聘人数或取消招聘。

(3) Written examination: Full score 100 points, passing score 60 points. Those who achieve a passing score or above will participate in the professional assessment.

（三）笔试：满分100分，合格分数线60分，达到合格分数以上的人员参加业务考察。

(4) Professional assessment: Conducted jointly by the Academic Committee and the Employment Committee of the Academy of Marxism, including procedures such as personal presentation, question-and-answer defense, expert deliberation, and voting. Applicants must, in principle, obtain more than two-thirds of the votes of the experts actually present. Candidates will be ranked in descending order of votes received. According to a 1:1 ratio of the number of positions recruited, candidates for the next stage will be determined. If votes are tied, ranking will be based on written examination scores.

（四）业务考察：由马研院学术委员会和聘用委员会共同进行业务考察，包括个人陈述、提问答辩、专家评议、投票表决等程序。应聘人员原则上需获得实际到会专家人数2/3以上赞成票，根据得票数由高到低排序，按照招聘岗位人数1:1比例，确定进入下一阶段人选；若得票相同依据笔试成绩排序。

(5) Internship: Arrange for applicants to undergo an internship of no less than 2 weeks to confirm whether they can adapt to the job requirements.

（五）实习：安排应聘人员进行不少于2周的实习，确认是否适应岗位工作要求。

(6) Medical examination: For those who pass the internship, arrange for applicants to undergo a medical examination at a designated hospital. The examination standards shall refer to the general standards for civil servant recruitment medical examinations. At the same time, psychological testing will be conducted for applicants.

（六）体检：实习合格的，安排应聘人员到指定医院进行体检，体检标准参照公务员录用体检通用标准执行，同时对应聘人员进行心理测试。

(7) Political investigation: For those who pass the medical examination, conduct a re-examination of the applicant’s qualifications and a political investigation.

（七）政治考察：体检合格的，对应聘人员进行应聘资格复审和政治考察。

If the proposed candidate withdraws or fails the internship, medical examination, or political investigation, resulting in a vacancy for the position, after study, the situation may be considered to arrange for a replacement in order of the number of votes received from among those who obtained more than two-thirds of the votes in the professional assessment for the position, or no replacement may be arranged and the number of recruits for that position may be correspondingly reduced.

因拟聘人选放弃或实习、体检、政治考察不合格等原因造成岗位应聘人员空缺，经研究，可视情况从岗位业务考察获得2/3以上赞成票人员中按得票数量高低依次安排递补，或不再递补并相应减少该岗位招聘数量。

Affected by the epidemic, the order of procedures such as internship, medical examination, and political investigation may be adjusted according to actual circumstances.

受疫情影响，实习、体检、政治考察等程序可视实际情况调整先后顺序。

(8) Determination of proposed candidates: Based on the comprehensive examination, professional assessment, medical examination, internship, political investigation, and other circumstances, the Party Committee of the Academy of Marxism will collectively study and decide on the proposed candidates.

（八）确定拟聘人选：根据综合考试、业务考察、体检、实习、政治考察等情况，马研院党委集体研究决定拟聘人选。

(9) Public announcement: Publicize the situation of the proposed candidates through the channels where the recruitment announcement was published for no less than 7 working days.

（九）公示：在招聘发布公告渠道对拟聘人选情况进行不少于7个工作日的公示。

(10) Filing and onboarding: Report to the Personnel and Education Bureau of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences for filing, and review the qualifications, employment procedures, etc., of the proposed candidates. After filing, the personnel department of the Academy of Marxism will sign an employment contract with the hired personnel, clarify the tasks and objectives for the employment period, and handle the procedures for reporting for duty at the Academy.

（十）备案与入职：报中国社会科学院人事教育局备案，审核拟聘人选资格条件、聘用程序等；备案后，马研院人事部门负责与聘用人员签订聘用合同，明确聘期目标任务，办理入院报到手续。
