Call for Papers for the 13th Academic Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context

In order to deeply study, research, and expound Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, systematically expound the latest theoretical achievements of adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times, and enhance academic exchange among researchers working on adapting Marxism to the Chinese context, the 13th Academic Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context is co-hosted by the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Jiangnan University, and the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, co-organized by the Department of Research on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context of the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the School of Marxism of Jiangnan University, and the School of Marxism of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and co-sponsored by *Studies on Marxism*, *Studies on World Socialism*, the *Journal of Jiangnan University*, and the Beijing Municipal Committee of the CPC’s *Frontline* magazine. It is scheduled to be held at Jiangnan University from May 19 to 21, 2023. Academic papers are now being solicited nationwide. Experts, scholars, and graduate students in research fields such as adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and socialism with Chinese characteristics are welcome to attend the forum with their papers.

为深入学习研究阐释习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想和党的二十大精神，系统阐释马克思主义中国化时代化的最新理论成果，增进马克思主义中国化研究工作者的学术交流，由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、江南大学、中国社会科学院大学联合主办，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院马克思主义中国化研究部、江南大学马克思主义学院、中国社会科学院大学马克思主义学院联合承办，由《马克思主义研究》《世界社会主义研究》《江南大学学报》、中共北京市委《前线》杂志等协办的第十三届马克思主义中国化学术论坛，拟于2023年5月19日至21日在江南大学举行。现面向全国征集学术论文，欢迎马克思主义中国化、中国特色社会主义等研究领域的专家学者、研究生等以文赴会。

IV. Relevant Notes: No conference fees will be charged; meal expenses during the conference will be covered by the organizers. Transportation and accommodation expenses are to be borne by participants.

1. Manuscript Requirements: Adhere to the correct political orientation, closely follow the theme, provide ample material, present thorough reasoning, and highlight academic quality. The work must be the result of independent research and must not have been previously published. The length should be 8,000–10,000 characters, accompanied by 3–5 keywords and an abstract of no more than 300 characters. Citations and historical materials must be accurate and rigorous, with sources clearly indicated (format should follow *Studies on Marxism*). At the end of the manuscript, please include the author’s brief biography, contact phone number, WeChat ID, and email address.

1.文稿要求：坚持正确的政治方向，紧扣主题，材料翔实，说理充分，突出学术性；必须是独立研究的成果，此前未公开发表；篇幅以8000-10000字为宜，并附3-5个关键词和300字以内的内容摘要；引文和史料准确严谨，并请注明出处（格式请参照《马克思主义研究》）；文末请附作者简介、联系电话、微信号码、电子邮箱等信息。

2. Submission Method: Please send the electronic version of the paper (WORD format: name + paper title + 13th Forum on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context) to the email address: mkszyzghlt2023@163.com. Do not submit paper copies.

3. Deadline: May 5, 2022. After an initial selection by the forum preparatory group, experts will review the papers. By May 10, authors of selected papers will be invited to join a WeChat working group, and an invitation letter to attend the forum will be sent within the group.
