Notice Calling for Papers for the 2023 National Symposium on Ideological and Political Education

In order to thoroughly implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, systematically study and elucidate Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, use Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to forge souls and educate people, and use the Party’s theoretical innovations and experience summaries to promote the high-quality development of ideological and political education on the new journey of the New Era, the “2023 National Symposium on Ideological and Political Education” is scheduled to be held in Chongqing on October 21, 2023. The symposium is jointly sponsored by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Southwest University, and co-organized by the Research Department of Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context and the Needs of the Times of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the School of Marxism of Southwest University. We now cordially invite teaching and research personnel from national research institutions, institutions of higher education, and Party and government departments to actively submit papers.

为深入贯彻落实党的二十大精神，系统研究阐释习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，用习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想铸魂育人，用党的理论创新和经验总结推进新时代新征程上思想政治教育的高质量发展，“2023年全国思想政治教育学术研讨会”拟于2023年10月21日在重庆举办。会议由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、西南大学联合主办，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院马克思主义中国化研究部、西南大学马克思主义学院共同承办。现诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学和研究人员积极投稿。

1. Symposium Time: Check-in on October 20, 2023 (Friday); symposium on October 21, 2023 (Saturday); departure on October 22, 2023 (Sunday).

1.会议时间：2023年10月20日（周五）报到，10月21日（周六）会议，10月22日（周日）离会。

2. Symposium Location: Southwest University (No. 2 Tiansheng Road, Beibei District, Chongqing).

2.会议地点：西南大学（重庆市北碚区天生路二号）。

IV. Participation Method

四、参会方式

1. The symposium adopts a method of participation by paper. We request that all experts and scholars write papers around the symposium theme and topics. The requirements for the papers are as follows:

1.会议采取以文参会的方式，请各位专家学者围绕会议主题和议题撰写论文。论文要求如下：

(1) Guided by Marxism, with a distinct theme, reflecting academic nature and innovation; (2) Must include an abstract (approximately 400 characters), keywords (3-5), author biography (name, gender, work unit, title, position), and detailed contact information (address, phone, email) before the main text; (3) The main text should refer to the submission format of *Marxist Studies*; (4) The length should be approximately 8,000 characters, with standardized annotations and accurate citations.

（1）以马克思主义为指导，主题鲜明，体现学术性和创新性；（2）务必在正文前附内容提要（400字左右）、关键词（3-5个）、作者简介（姓名、性别、工作单位、职称、职务）及详细联系方式（地址、电话、电子邮箱）；（3）正文请参照《马克思主义研究》投稿体例；（4）字数在8000字左右，要求注释规范、引文准确。

2. Symposium papers should be sent in Word document format to the symposium email address qgsxzzjy2023@126.com, with the file named “Name + Unit + Paper Title.” The submission deadline is September 15, 2023.

2.会议论文请以word文档形式发送至会议邮箱qgsxzzjy2023@126.com，文件命名为“姓名+单位+论文题目”，投稿截止日期为2023年9月15日。

3. The symposium organizing committee will issue formal invitations to authors of selected papers. After the symposium, a collection of papers titled *Research Series on Ideological and Political Education (Volume 13)* will be formally published, and selected papers will be recommended for publication in important journals such as *Marxist Studies*.

3.会务组将向论文入选者发出正式参会邀请函。会后将正式出版论文集《思想政治教育研究论丛（第13辑）》，并择优向《马克思主义研究》等重要刊物推荐发表。
