Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences National Conditions Research Group Conducts Research in Inner Mongolia

In April 2023, General Secretary Xi Jinping delivered an important speech at the work conference on studying and implementing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, setting forth clear requirements for further strengthening investigation and research. In order to earnestly implement the requirements of the education campaign and deepen investigation and research, the National Conditions Research Group of the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences successively visited multiple leagues and cities in Inner Mongolia, conducting research on themes such as “Ecological Civilization Construction under Socialism with Chinese Characteristics in the New Era” and “Strengthening the Political and Organizational Functions of Party Organizations.”

2023年4月，习近平总书记在学习贯彻习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想主题教育工作会议上发表重要讲话，对进一步抓好调查研究提出明确要求。为了切实贯彻主题教育的要求，深入加强调查研究，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院国情调研组先后赴内蒙古多个盟市，围绕“新时代中国特色社会主义生态文明建设”、“增强党组织政治功能和组织功能”等主题展开调研。

From July 22 to 26, a delegation led by Xin Xiangyang, Party Secretary and Director of the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, went to Hinggan League and Xilingol League to conduct national conditions research. They were accompanied by Zhu Xiaojun, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Inner Mongolia Federation of Social Sciences, and Liu Zhong, Deputy Director of the Hinggan League People’s Congress Working Committee, among others. The research group successively visited the Jingye Group Ulanhot Iron and Steel Co., Ltd. to learn about green, energy-saving, and environmental protection industry upgrading projects such as blast furnace energy conservation and emission reduction, gas recovery for power generation, and wastewater treatment; conducted field research on infrastructure construction and grassland ecological protection at Ulan Maodu Grassland in Horqin Right Wing Front Banner; investigated work on comprehensive management of grassland and sandy land, returning farmland to forest and grassland, and other efforts in Duolun County and Zhenglan Banner; and held multiple discussion sessions with relevant local departments.

7月22日-26日，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院党委书记、院长辛向阳一行到兴安盟、锡林郭勒盟开展国情调研。自治区社科联党组成员、副主席朱晓俊，兴安盟人大工委副主任刘忠等陪同调研。调研组先后到敬业集团乌兰浩特钢铁有限责任公司了解高炉节能环保、煤气回收发电、污水处理等绿色节能环保产业提升项目，到科右前旗乌兰毛都草原实地调研基础设施建设及草原生态保护情况，到多伦县、正蓝旗等地了解草原沙地综合治理、退耕还林还草等工作开展情况，并与当地有关部门进行了多场座谈交流。

From July 12 to 16, a delegation led by Lin Jianhua, Vice President of the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, went to Hinggan League and Tongliao City to conduct national conditions research. They were accompanied by Zhu Meng, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice President of the Inner Mongolia Academy of Social Sciences, and Jiao Gangwei, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Director of the Organization Department, among others. The research group successively visited Erlongtun Organic Agriculture Co., Ltd. in Horqin Right Wing Middle Banner, Har Daob Gacha in Bayan Hushu Town, and the Horqin Right Wing Middle Banner Museum to learn about Party building work in “new economic and new social organizations” [1]1 “New economic and new social organizations” (两新组织) refers to non-public economic entities and social organizations outside the state sector, a focus of Party building efforts to extend organizational coverage., Party building leading rural revitalization, and grassroots propaganda, ideology, and culture work; visited the Red Dry Pepper Industry Research and Development Center in Kailu County, the Xiaochengzi standardized demonstration orchard and corn demonstration base, the Kailu Biomedical Development Zone Party and Mass Service Center, the city’s Tianyi Nursing Home, the Shicheng Tiancheng Company, and the museum to learn about work such as high-quality Party building leading rural revitalization and Party building leading high-quality development of social organizations; and held a symposium, conducting relatively in-depth exchanges with relevant departments on strengthening the political and organizational functions of Party organizations.

7月12日至16日，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院副院长林建华一行到兴安盟、通辽市开展国情调研。内蒙古社会科学院党委委员、副院长朱檬，市委常委、组织部部长焦刚伟陪同调研。调研组先后到科右中旗二龙屯有机农业有限责任公司、巴彦呼舒镇哈日道卜嘎查、科右中旗博物馆了解 “两新组织”党建工作、党建引领乡村振兴、基层宣传思想文化等工作情况，到开鲁县红干椒产业研发中心，小城子标准化示范果园和玉米示范基地，开鲁生物医药开发区党群服务中心，市天颐养老院、时机天成公司、博物馆等地了解高质量党建引领乡村振兴、党建统领社会组织高质量发展等工作情况，并召开座谈会，与有关部门就增强党组织政治功能和组织功能进行了比较深入的交流。

From July 10 to July 14, a research group from the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences went to Bayannur City and Ordos City to conduct national conditions research, successively inspecting the Dengkou Twenty Mile Willow Ulan Buh Desert Control Area, the Yellow River Sanshenggong Water Control Project, the Wuliangsuhai South Bank Modern Industry Demonstration Park, the Wuliangsuhai Nature Reserve, the Ordos Carbon Neutrality Research Institute, the Ordos Zero-Carbon Industrial Park, and the Kubuqi Desert, among other locations, learning about local experiences in industrial structure transformation, photovoltaic desert control, and desert water ecological management.

7月10日至7月14日，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院调研组到巴彦淖尔市、鄂尔多斯市开展国情调研，先后考察了磴口二十里柳子乌兰布和沙漠治理区、黄河三盛公水利枢纽工程、乌梁素海南岸现代产业示范园区、乌梁素海自然保护区、鄂尔多斯碳中和研究院、鄂尔多斯零碳产业园以及库布齐沙漠等地，了解了当地产业结构转型、光伏治沙和沙漠水生态治理的经验。

Through investigation and research, the research group deepened its understanding of the Party’s innovative theory, enhanced its knowledge of the strategic positioning of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in building a solid ecological security barrier in the north, and broadened its research ideas.

通过调查研究，调研组加深了对党的创新理论的理解，增进了对内蒙古自治区筑牢北方生态安全屏障这一战略定位的了解，开拓了研究思路。
