Call for Papers: Academic Forum on “the Two Integrations” and the Innovative Development of Marxism in the 21st Century

In order to deeply study and comprehend the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discourse on “the Two Integrations” and the building of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation, to systematically research and interpret Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, to deeply explore the key, hot, and focal issues of “the Two Integrations” and the innovative development of Marxism in the 21st century, and to enhance academic exchange among researchers of Marxist theory and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era nationwide, the Academic Forum on “the Two Integrations” and the Innovative Development of Marxism in the 21st Century, co-hosted by the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Beijing Jiaotong University, and co-organized by the School of Marxism of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the School of Marxism of Beijing Jiaotong University, is scheduled to be held from December 1 to 3, 2023, at Beijing Jiaotong University. We now invite papers from academic colleagues nationwide; everyone is welcome to participate by submitting a paper.

为深入学习领会习近平总书记关于“两个结合”和建设中华民族现代文明重要论述精神，系统研究阐释习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，深入探讨“两个结合”与21世纪马克思主义创新发展的重点热点焦点问题，增进全国马克思主义理论研究和习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想研究工作者的学术交流，由中国社会科学院大学、北京交通大学联合主办，中国社会科学院大学马克思主义学院、北京交通大学马克思主义学院联合承办的“两个结合”与21世纪马克思主义创新发展学术论坛，拟于2023年12月1日至3日在北京交通大学举行。现面向全国学界同仁征集论文，欢迎大家以文赴会。

IV. Submission Requirements

四、稿件要求

This forum adopts a paper-based participation method. Teaching personnel, researchers, and graduate students from national research institutions, universities, and Party and government departments are sincerely invited to actively submit papers.

本次论坛采取以文入会方式，诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学人员、研究人员、研究生等积极投稿。

Submission Requirements:

稿件要求：

1. Correct stance, clear theme, rigorous logic, integration of history and theory, reflecting academic nature and innovation, with high theoretical significance and practical value;

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论意义和实践价值；

2. The paper must be an unpublished new work, generally 8,000-12,000 words in length, using footnotes at the bottom of the page, specifically following the publication format of *Marxist Studies*. [2]2 *Marxist Studies* (《马克思主义研究》) is a leading Chinese academic journal on Marxist theory, published by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. An abstract (approximately 300 words), keywords (3-5), author biography, and detailed contact information should be attached before the main text.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数一般为8000-12000字，采用页下脚注，具体请以《马克思主义研究》的刊发格式为准。正文前附内容摘要（300字左右）、关键词（3-5个），作者简介及详细联系方式。

This forum does not charge a registration fee. Travel expenses and accommodation costs during the conference are to be borne by participants. After evaluation by the expert review committee, the organizing committee will send conference invitation letters to authors of selected papers before November 20. The conference will select outstanding papers for recommendation to *Marxist Studies* and *Studies on World Socialism* for publication.

本次论坛不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。经专家评审委员会评选后,会务组将在11月20日前向论文入选作者发出会议邀请函。会议将遴选优秀论文向《马克思主义研究》《世界社会主义研究》推荐发表。
