Call for Papers for the 10th Forum on the Theory and Practice of Ruling Party Building

In order to thoroughly study, publicize, and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the CPC, and to advance the research and interpretation of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on Party building, the Institute of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, East China Normal University, and the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences will jointly host the “10th Forum on the Theory and Practice of Ruling Party Building” in Shanghai from June 16 to 17, 2024. Academic colleagues and Party affairs workers are sincerely invited to write papers around the forum’s theme and to attend the forum for discussion.

为深入学习宣传贯彻党的二十大精神，推进习近平总书记关于党的建设的重要思想的研究阐释，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、华东师范大学、中国科学院大学将于2024年6月16日至17日在上海市联合主办“第十届执政党建设理论与实践论坛”，诚邀学界同仁和党务工作者围绕论坛主题撰写论文并拨冗赴会研讨。

1. The forum will not charge a registration fee; participants are responsible for their own round-trip transportation and accommodation costs. Paper invitations can be collected on-site after the conclusion of the conference on the afternoon of June 17.

1.论坛不收取会务费，与会代表往返交通费和住宿费自理。纸质邀请函请在6月17日下午会议结束后现场领取。

2. Papers and attendance confirmations should be sent to the email address djcass@sina.com by June 1, 2024. The conference affairs group will send formal invitations based on the quality of the manuscripts.

2.征文和参会回执请于2024年6月1日前发至邮箱djcass@sina.com。会务组将根据文稿质量发送正式邀请。

3. The forum is paper-based; after the conference, selected papers will be compiled for publication or recommended to relevant core journals. The electronic file name of the paper should be “Author’s Name + School (Unit) + Article Title.” Submissions should choose their own topic and perspective around the theme, and must adhere to the correct political direction and academic orientation. Papers must be unpublished research results, with a length of 6,000–10,000 characters, compiled using Word software, and include 3–5 keywords and an abstract of no more than 300 characters. Citations should use footnotes at the bottom of each page, renumbered per page. The format should follow that of the journal *Studies on Marxism*. At the end of the text, please include the author’s brief biography, title, position, contact phone number, and email address.

3.论坛以文参会，会后将择优结集出版或推荐给有关核心期刊。论文电子版文件名为“作者姓名+学校（单位）+文章标题”。来稿请围绕主题自选题目、自选角度，务必坚持正确的政治方向和学术导向；论文须为未公开发表的研究成果，篇幅在6000-10000字为宜，请采用word软件编排，并附3-5个关键词和300字以内内容摘要，引文采用页下脚注，每页重新编号。具体请以《马克思主义研究》杂志的刊发格式为准。文末请附作者简介、职称、职务、联系电话、电子邮箱等。

4. In case of special circumstances, the forum schedule may be adjusted accordingly; registered participants should maintain timely contact with the organizers.
