Call for Papers: 2024 Annual Academic Conference of the China Atheism Society and the 12th Forum on Scientific Atheism

In order to deeply study, implement, and carry out the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches at the Symposium on Cultural Heritage Development and the National Conference on Religious Work, and to forge a strong sense of community for the Chinese nation, the 2024 Annual Academic Conference of the China Atheism Society and the 12th Forum on Scientific Atheism are scheduled to be held in late June in Urumqi. This conference is hosted by the China Atheism Society, the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Research Center for Scientific Atheism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and Xinjiang University; organized by the School of Marxism of Xinjiang University; and co-organized by the editorial office of *Science and Atheism*. The theme of the conference is “‘The Two Integrations’ and Marxist Atheism in the New Era.” [1]1 “The Two Integrations” (两个结合) refers to the combination of the basic tenets of Marxism with China’s specific realities and with the best of traditional Chinese culture, a key theoretical formulation under Xi Jinping Thought.

为深入学习贯彻落实习近平总书记在文化传承发展座谈会和全国宗教工作会议上的重要讲话精神，铸牢中华民族共同体意识，中国无神论学会2024年学术年会暨第12届科学无神论论坛拟于6月下旬在乌鲁木齐召开，此次会议由中国无神论学会、中国社科院马克思主义研究院、中国社科院科学无神论研究中心和新疆大学主办，新疆大学马克思主义学院承办，《科学与无神论》编辑部协办。会议主题为“‘两个结合’与新时代马克思主义无神论”。

This conference adopts the principle of “participation based on submitted papers.” We welcome experts and scholars from national research institutions, universities, Party schools, and cadre academies, as well as relevant comrades from practical work departments, to actively submit papers and attend the conference, contributing to the construction of the China Atheism Society and the development of the atheism cause! Submitted papers should be new, unpublished works. Please provide the paper title, abstract, keywords, and author biography (including institution, title, position, etc.), mailing address, contact phone number, and email address. Outstanding submissions, after revision, will be given priority for publication in *Science and Atheism*.

此次会议实行“以文赴会”的原则，欢迎全国各科研机构、高等院校、党校、干部学院的专家学者，以及实际工作部门的有关同志踊跃投稿参会，为中国无神论学会建设和无神论事业发展贡献力量！投稿论文应为未发表的新作，请提供论文题目、内容摘要、关键词，以及作者简介（包括单位、职称、职务等）、通讯地址、联系电话、电子邮箱等信息。优秀稿件经修订后优先在《科学与无神论》上发表。
