中国社会科学网讯（记者高莹）6月13日，中国社会科学院党组理论学习中心组进行2024年第六次集中学习，深入学习领会习近平文化思想，认真学习贯彻习近平总书记关于哲学社会科学的重要论述精神。院长、党组书记高翔主持会议并讲话。副院长、党组成员甄占民作重点发言。中央纪委国家监委驻院纪检监察组组长、院党组成员杭元祥，秘书长、党组成员赵志敏出席会议。

The meeting held that since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has planned and promoted cultural construction from the overall perspective of building a strong country and rejuvenating the nation, profoundly grasped the logic of historical development and the laws of cultural construction, scientifically answered a series of fundamental, directional, and strategic questions concerning cultural construction in the New Era, and formed Xi Jinping’s Cultural Thought. Xi Jinping’s Cultural Thought is a brilliant model of the Two Integrations [1]1 The Two Integrations (两个结合) refers to the integration of the basic tenets of Marxism with China’s specific realities and with the best of China’s traditional culture., opens up new realms for the development of Marxist cultural theory, serves as the banner and soul of cultural prosperity and development in the New Era, and provides a powerful ideological weapon and scientific action guide for strengthening cultural construction in the New Era and shouldering new cultural missions.

会议认为，党的十八大以来，以习近平同志为核心的党中央站在强国建设、民族复兴的全局高度谋划和推动文化建设，深刻把握历史发展逻辑和文化建设规律，科学回答了新时代文化建设的一系列根本性、方向性、战略性问题，形成了习近平文化思想。习近平文化思想是“两个结合”的光辉典范，开辟了马克思主义文化理论发展新境界，是新时代文化繁荣发展的旗帜和灵魂，为加强新时代文化建设、担负起新的文化使命提供了强大思想武器和科学行动指南。

The meeting emphasized that to continue promoting cultural prosperity, building a strong cultural country, and constructing the modern civilization of the Chinese nation at a new starting point, it is necessary to uphold the Party’s cultural leadership and consolidate the cultural subjectivity of the Chinese nation. The Chinese Academy of Social Sciences is the Party’s theoretical academic front and an important ideological stronghold. It must make studying, propagating, and implementing Xi Jinping’s Cultural Thought the primary political task, theoretical task, and academic task; treat General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and important instructions as the “first agenda” [2]2 “First agenda” (第一议题) is an intra-Party term meaning that a given topic is the first item on the agenda for study and discussion at Party meetings. for study, the “first guideline” for implementation, and the “first political task” for execution; always take the lead in being loyal to the core, supporting the core, following the core, and defending the core; and earnestly fulfill the responsibilities of guarding one’s post, being accountable for one’s post, and doing one’s utmost in one’s post. It must leverage its advantage of having a full range of disciplines, strengthen research and interpretation, and contribute wisdom and strength to building the modern civilization of the Chinese nation.

会议强调，在新的起点上继续推动文化繁荣、建设文化强国、建设中华民族现代文明，必须坚持党的文化领导权，巩固中华民族的文化主体性。中国社会科学院是党的理论学术阵地和意识形态重镇，要把学习宣传贯彻习近平文化思想作为首要政治任务、理论任务和学术任务，把习近平总书记重要讲话重要指示精神作为“第一议题”来学习、“第一遵循”来贯彻、“第一政治任务”来落实，在忠诚核心、拥护核心、跟随核心、捍卫核心上始终走在前列，切实做到守土有责、守土负责、守土尽责。要发挥学科门类齐全的优势，加强研究阐释，为建设中华民族现代文明贡献智慧和力量。

The meeting demanded that, taking the opportunity of Party discipline learning and education [3]3 Party discipline learning and education (党纪学习教育) refers to a campaign launched in 2024 to strengthen Party discipline, particularly through study of the Party’s disciplinary regulations., it should further deepen the construction of a political organ centered on scientific research, firmly grasp the correct political direction, and consciously and actively serve the overall situation of building the modern civilization of the Chinese nation. It should continue to deeply implement the project of studying and interpreting Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the project of studying and interpreting the modern civilization of the Chinese nation, integrate advantageous resources, carry out interdisciplinary, cross-field, and cross-specialty integrated research, and conduct in-depth systematic research and theoretical interpretation. With a higher political stance, a broader academic vision, and a larger theoretical framework, it should better shoulder new cultural missions, accelerate the construction of China’s independent knowledge system, build a Chinese school of philosophy and social sciences, forge a theoretical and academic iron army for the study of the modern civilization of the Chinese nation, and continuously improve its ability and level to serve General Secretary Xi Jinping and the Party Central Committee.

会议要求，要以党纪学习教育为契机，进一步深化以科研为中心工作的政治机关建设，牢牢把握正确政治方向，自觉主动服务中华民族现代文明建设大局。要持续深入实施习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想研究阐释工程和中华民族现代文明研究阐释工程，整合优势资源，开展跨学科、跨领域、跨专业的交叉融合研究，深入开展体系化研究和学理性阐释。要以更高的政治站位、更宽的学术视野、更大的理论格局，更好担负起新的文化使命，加快建构中国自主的知识体系，建设哲学社会科学的中国学派，打造中华民族现代文明研究的理论学术铁军，不断提高服务习近平总书记和党中央的能力和水平。

Zhang Zhiqiang, Director and Deputy Party Secretary of the Institute of Philosophy, and Li Guoqiang, Vice President and Member of the Party Standing Committee of the Chinese Academy of History, respectively made exchange speeches on the theme.
