Call for Papers for the 11th CASS Forum on Scientific Socialism and the 11th CASS Forum on Mao Zedong Thought

In order to thoroughly study, publicize, and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, to deeply study and elaborate on the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches at the Symposium on Cultural Heritage Development and at the Symposium Commemorating the 130th Anniversary of Comrade Mao Zedong’s Birth, to deeply explore the historical logic, theoretical logic, and practical logic of comprehensively advancing the building of a strong country and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-path modernization, and to enhance academic exchange among national researchers of scientific socialism and Mao Zedong Thought, the 11th CASS Forum on Scientific Socialism and the 11th CASS Forum on Mao Zedong Thought, jointly hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, and Xi’an University of Technology, and jointly organized by the Department of Research on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context of the Academy of Marxism of CASS, the School of Marxism of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology, the School of Marxism of Xi’an University of Technology, and the School of Marxism of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, is scheduled to be held in Xi’an on September 21, 2024. We are now soliciting papers from academic colleagues nationwide; everyone is welcome to attend the forum by submitting a paper.

为深入学习宣传贯彻党的二十届三中全会精神，深入研究阐释习近平总书记在文化传承发展座谈会和在纪念毛泽东同志诞辰130周年座谈会上的重要讲话精神，深入探讨以中国式现代化全面推进强国建设、民族复兴伟业的历史逻辑、理论逻辑、实践逻辑，增进全国科学社会主义研究工作者、毛泽东思想研究工作者的学术交流，由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、陕西科技大学、西安理工大学联合主办，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院马克思主义中国化研究部、陕西科技大学马克思主义学院、西安理工大学马克思主义学院、中国社会科学院大学马克思主义学院联合承办的第十一届中国社会科学院科学社会主义论坛暨第十一届中国社会科学院毛泽东思想论坛，拟于2024年9月21日在西安举行。现面向全国学界同仁征集论文，欢迎大家以文赴会。

四、稿件要求

This forum adopts a paper-based participation method. Teaching staff, researchers, and graduate students from national research institutions, institutions of higher education, and Party and government departments are sincerely invited to actively submit papers.

本次论坛采取以文入会方式，诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学人员、研究人员、研究生等积极投稿。

Submission Requirements:

稿件要求：

1. The paper must have a correct stance, a clear theme, rigorous logic, and a combination of historical and theoretical analysis, reflecting academic quality and innovation, with high theoretical and practical value.

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值；

2. The paper must be a new work that has not yet been published, generally 8,000 to 12,000 words in length, using footnotes at the bottom of the page, specifically following the publication format of *Studies on Marxism*. An abstract (approximately 300 words), keywords (3-5), author biography, and detailed contact information should be attached before the main text.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数一般为8000-12000字，采用页下脚注，具体请以《马克思主义研究》的刊发格式为准。正文前附内容摘要（300字左右）、关键词（3-5个），作者简介及详细联系方式。

This forum does not charge a registration fee. Transportation and accommodation expenses during the meeting are to be borne by the participants. After evaluation by the expert review committee, the organizing committee will send meeting invitation letters to selected authors before September 10. The meeting will select outstanding papers for recommendation to *Studies on Marxism* and *Studies on World Socialism* for publication.

本次论坛不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。经专家评审委员会评选后,会务组将在9月10日前向入选作者发出会议邀请函。会议将遴选优秀论文向《马克思主义研究》《世界社会主义研究》推荐发表。
