Call for Papers: The 16th National Forum of Deans of Marxist Studies

In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC, to deepen the understanding of further deepening reform comprehensively and advancing Chinese-path modernization, and to guide the great practice of Chinese-path modernization with Marxism adapted to the Chinese context and the needs of the times, the 16th National Forum of Deans of Marxist Studies is scheduled to be held in early December 2024 at the University of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. The forum’s theme is “Further Deepening Reform Comprehensively and Chinese-Path Modernization.”

为深入学习贯彻习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想和党的二十届三中全会精神，深化对进一步全面深化改革、推进中国式现代化的认识，以中国化时代化的马克思主义指导中国式现代化的伟大实践，第十六届全国马克思主义院长论坛拟于2024年12月上旬在中国社会科学院大学举行，论坛主题为“进一步全面深化改革与中国式现代化”。

This forum will closely focus on the conference theme and discuss the following topics in depth:

We sincerely invite teaching and research personnel from national research institutions, universities, and Party and government departments to actively submit papers. Submission requirements are as follows:

现诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学和研究人员积极投稿。稿件要求：

1. The paper must have a correct stance, a clear theme, rigorous logic, and a combination of historical and theoretical analysis, reflecting academic quality and innovation, with high theoretical and practical value.

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值。

2. The paper must be an unpublished new work, with a word count of no less than 8,000 characters. It should be preceded by an abstract (approximately 500 characters), keywords (3–5), an author biography, and detailed contact information.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数不少于8000字，正文前附内容摘要（500字左右）、关键词（3-5个）、作者简介及详细联系方式。

This forum adopts a “paper-based participation” method. The deadline for paper submissions is November 1, 2024. The electronic version of the paper should be sent in WORD format to the email address: mnsh2019@163.com (Contact person: Teacher Yang, Institute of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences). After evaluation by the expert review committee, conference invitations will be sent to selected authors no later than the end of November. The conference will select outstanding papers for publication in a collected volume and recommend them for publication in *Marxist Studies*.

本次论坛采取以文入会方式，论文投稿截止日期为2024年11月1日。论文电子版请以WORD文档形式发送至电子邮箱：mnsh2019@163.com（联系人：中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院杨老师）。投稿论文经专家评审委员会评选后，不迟于11月底向入选者发出会议邀请函。会议将遴选优秀论文结集出版，并向《马克思主义研究》推荐发表。
