Notice on Call for Papers for the 2024 National Symposium on Ideological and Political Education

In order to study and implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC [1]1 The Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC, held in July 2024, focused on deepening reform and advancing Chinese modernization., strengthen research, publicity and interpretation of Xi Jinping’s cultural thought, deeply understand the innovative development of ideological and political education in the process of Chinese-path modernization, and enhance the academic research level and talent cultivation quality of ideological and political education, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the discipline of ideological and political education, the “2024 National Symposium on Ideological and Political Education” is scheduled to be held at Nankai University on November 16, 2024, with the theme “Historical Review and Prospect of the Development of the Discipline of Ideological and Political Education.”

为学习贯彻党的二十届三中全会精神，加强对习近平文化思想的研究宣传阐释，深入理解中国式现代化进程中思想政治教育的创新发展，提升思想政治教育的学术研究水平和人才培养质量，在思想政治教育专业设立四十周年之际，“2024年全国思想政治教育学术研讨会”拟于2024年11月16日在南开大学召开，会议主题为“思想政治教育学科发展的历史回顾与前瞻”。

This symposium will closely revolve around the conference theme, focusing on the following topics for discussion:

We sincerely invite teaching and research personnel from national research institutions, institutions of higher education, and Party and government departments to actively submit papers. Requirements for submissions:

现诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学和研究人员积极投稿。稿件要求：

1. Correct stance, distinct theme, rigorous logic, integration of history and theory, reflecting academic nature and innovation, with high theoretical and practical value.

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值。

2. Word count above 8,000 characters; standardized annotations, accurate citations, formatting referencing the paper standards of *Marxist Studies*; attach author biography (name, gender, work unit, title, position) and detailed contact information (phone, mailing address, and email).

2.字数在8000字以上；注释规范、引文准确，排版格式参照《马克思主义研究》论文标准；附作者简介（姓名、性别、工作单位、职称、职务）及详细联系方式（电话、联系地址和电子邮箱）。

This symposium adopts a paper-based participation method. The deadline for paper submission is November 1, 2024. The electronic version of the paper should be sent in WORD document format to the conference email: 2120212572@mail.nankai.edu.cn, with the file name “Unit + Name + Paper Title.” After evaluation by the expert review committee, an invitation letter will be sent to selected authors. Selected authors should promptly send the participation receipt to the conference email, with the file name “Receipt + Unit + Name.” (The participation receipt is attached in Appendix 1).

本次研讨会采取以文入会方式，论文投稿截止日期为2024年11月1日。论文电子版请以WORD文档形式发送至会务邮箱：2120212572@mail.nankai.edu.cn，文件名为“单位+姓名+论文题目”。投稿论文经专家评审委员会评选后，向入选者发出会议邀请函，请入选者按时将参会回执发到会务邮箱，文件名为“回执+单位+姓名”。（参会回执见附件1）。
