Call for Papers for the Academic Symposium on “Xi Jinping’s Thought on Culture and the Building of a Socialist Cultural Power”

Dear Sir/Madam:

尊敬的 先生/女士：

In order to thoroughly study and implement Xi Jinping’s Thought on Culture, comprehensively analyze and elucidate its original viewpoints, core essence, value purport, developmental脉络, and practical value; to deeply grasp the internal logic between Xi Jinping’s Thought on Culture and the building of a socialist cultural power; to explore the functional positioning of Xi Jinping’s Thought on Culture in advancing Chinese-path modernization; to open up and deepen new fields and new directions in the study of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era; and to further promote the development and innovation of Marxism in the 21st century, the Department of Research on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context, Institute of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; the School of Marxism, University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; the School of Marxism, Jiangnan University; and the Jiangsu Provincial Research Base for Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era at Jiangnan University plan to jointly hold the Academic Symposium on “Xi Jinping’s Thought on Culture and the Building of a Socialist Cultural Power” at Jiangnan University on December 28, 2024. We sincerely invite experts and scholars from relevant domestic fields to attend.

为深入学习贯彻习近平文化思想，全面分析和阐释习近平文化思想的原创观点、核心要义、价值旨趣、发展脉络、实践价值，深入把握习近平文化思想与建设社会主义文化强国的内在逻辑，探求习近平文化思想在推进中国式现代化进程中的功能定位，开辟和深化习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想研究的新领域、新方向，深入推进21世纪马克思主义的发展创新，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院马克思主义中国化研究部、中国社会科学院大学马克思主义学院、江南大学马克思主义学院、江苏省习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想江南大学理论研究基地，拟于2024年12月28日在江南大学联合举办“习近平文化思想与文化强国建设”学术研讨会，诚邀国内相关领域专家学者拨冗出席。

Participants are requested to send the registration form (see attachment) and paper to the email address 7232403008@stu.jiangnan.edu.cn before December 20, 2024. The email subject line should indicate: “Academic Symposium on ‘Xi Jinping’s Thought on Culture and the Building of a Socialist Cultural Power’.”

与会人员请于2024年12月20日前将参会回执（见附件）、论文发至邮箱7232403008@stu.jiangnan.edu.cn，邮件主题请注明：“习近平文化思想与文化强国建设”学术研讨会。

III. Requirements for Paper Content and Format:

三、论文内容及排版格式要求：

The conference adopts a paper-based participation method. Experts and scholars are requested to write papers around the conference theme. Submitted papers must be original, unpublished research results that conform to academic norms. The preferred length is within 12,000 characters. Papers must have a correct political orientation, objective and accurate historical facts, and high academic and theoretical value.

会议采取以文与会的方式，请各位专家学者围绕会议主题撰写论文。参会论文须为原创未发表过的科研成果，符合学术规范，字数为12000字以内为宜，政治导向正确，史实客观准确，具有较高学术价值和理论价值。

Please refer to the submission format of *Studies on Marxism* for the paper formatting style. At the end of the paper, please include the author’s name, work unit, position and title, telephone number, email address, and mailing address.

论文体例格式烦请参照《马克思主义研究》投稿格式，请在文末附上作者姓名、工作单位、职务职称、电话、邮箱及通讯地址等具体联络方式。

IV. Related Fees

四、相关费用

This symposium charges no fees. Meal expenses for participants during the conference period will be borne by the organizers. Accommodation and round-trip travel expenses are to be borne by the participants themselves.

本次研讨会不收取任何费用，与会人员参会期间的餐饮费用由主办方承担，住宿及往返交通费自理。
