Call for Papers for the 12th CASS Scientific Socialism Forum and Mao Zedong Thought Forum

In order to deeply study, publicize, research, and interpret Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, to deeply explore the rich connotations, internal logic, and contemporary value of the theory of Chinese-path modernization and its major contributions to the development of scientific socialism in the 21st century, and to enhance academic exchange among national scientific socialism researchers, the 12th Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS) Scientific Socialism Forum and Mao Zedong Thought Forum, co-hosted by the CASS Institute of Marxism and Shandong University, and jointly organized by the CASS Institute of Marxism Department of Research on Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context and the Needs of the Times, the Shandong University School of Marxism, the Shandong University School of Marxism (Weihai), and the CASS University School of Marxism, is planned to be held from July 25 to 27, 2025, in Weihai City, Shandong Province. We are now soliciting papers from academic colleagues nationwide, and everyone is welcome to participate in the forum with a paper.

为深入学习宣传研究阐释习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，深入探讨中国式现代化理论的丰富内涵、内在逻辑和时代价值及其对21世纪科学社会主义发展作出的重大贡献，增进全国科学社会主义研究工作者的学术交流，由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、山东大学联合主办，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院马克思主义中国化研究部、山东大学马克思主义学院、山东大学马克思主义学院（威海）、中国社会科学院大学马克思主义学院联合承办的第十二届中国社会科学院科学社会主义论坛暨毛泽东思想论坛，拟于2025年7月25～27日在山东省威海市举行。现面向全国学界同仁征集论文，欢迎大家以文参会。

This forum adopts a paper-based participation method. Teaching staff, researchers, and graduate students from national research institutions, universities and colleges, and Party and government departments are sincerely invited to submit papers.

本次论坛采取以文入会方式，诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学人员、研究人员、研究生等积极投稿。

Submission Requirements:

稿件要求：

1. Correct stance, clear theme, rigorous logic, integration of historical evidence and theory, reflecting academic quality and innovation, with high theoretical and practical value;

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值；

2. Papers must be new works not yet published, typically 8,000–12,000 words in length, using page-bottom footnotes, specifically following the publication format of *Studies on Marxism*. An abstract (approximately 300 words), keywords (3–5), author biography, and detailed contact information should be included before the main text.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数一般为8000-12000字，采用页下脚注，具体请以《马克思主义研究》的刊发格式为准。正文前附内容摘要（300字左右）、关键词（3—5个），作者简介及详细联系方式。

This forum charges no registration fee. Transportation, accommodation, and other expenses during the conference are to be borne by participants. After review by the expert evaluation committee, the organizing committee will send conference invitation letters to selected authors before July 20. The conference will select outstanding papers for recommendation for publication in *Studies on Marxism* and *World Socialism Studies*.

本次论坛不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。经专家评审委员会评选后，会务组将在7月20日前向入选作者发出会议邀请函。会议将遴选优秀论文向《马克思主义研究》《世界社会主义研究》推荐发表。
