Call for Papers: The 13th Forum on Scientific Atheism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Atheism Society

The scientific spirit is the soul of scientific culture. By breaking down ideological shackles, it can provide a powerful spiritual driving force for Chinese-path modernization. As an important component of Marxism, Marxist atheism is built on the foundation of modern science. At the beginning of 2025, artificial intelligence represented by Deepseek and others has burst into people’s lives, sparking a wave of AI applications. In today’s era of rapid scientific and technological development and the interweaving of diverse cultures, in order to deeply explore the relationship between Marxist atheism and the scientific spirit, strengthen the propaganda and education of Marxist atheism, empower the advancement of Chinese-path modernization, and ultimately realize the modernization goal of “coordinated material and cultural-ethical progress,” the 13th Forum on Scientific Atheism and the 2025 Annual Academic Conference of the Chinese Atheism Society, jointly hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, the Chinese Atheism Society, the CASS Research Center for Science and Atheism, and Taiyuan University of Technology, and organized by the Research Department of Adapting Marxism to the Chinese Context and the Needs of the Times of the CASS Academy of Marxism and the School of Marxism of Taiyuan University of Technology, is scheduled to be held from August 15 to 17 in Taiyuan, Shanxi.

科学精神是科学文化的灵魂，能够通过破除思想桎梏，为中国式现代化提供强大的精神动力。作为马克思主义的重要组成部分，马克思主义无神论建立在现代科学基础之上。2025年新年伊始，以Deepseek等为代表的人工智能闯入了人们的生活，掀起AI应用热潮。在科学技术快速发展与多元文化交织的今天，为深入探讨马克思主义无神论与科学精神的关系，加强马克思主义无神论宣传，为推进中国式现代化赋能，最终实现“物质文明和精神文明相协调”的现代化目标，由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、中国无神论学会、中国社科院科学与无神论研究中心、太原理工大学联合主办，中国社科院马研院马克思主义中国化研究部和太原理工大学马克思主义学院承办的第十三届科学无神论论坛暨中国无神论学会2025年学术年会，拟于8月15-17日在山西太原召开。

四、投稿要求

The conference adopts the principle of “participation based on papers.” We sincerely invite teaching staff, researchers, graduate students from national research institutions, universities, and Party and government departments, as well as relevant comrades from practical work units, to actively submit papers.

会议实行“以文赴会”的原则，诚邀全国科研机构、高等院校和党政部门等单位的教学人员、研究人员、研究生，以及实际工作部门的有关同志积极投稿。

Deadline: July 20, 2025

Paper Requirements:

稿件要求：

1. The paper must be correct in stance, clear in theme, rigorous in logic, embody academic and innovative qualities, and have high theoretical and practical value.

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨，体现学术性和创新性，有较高的理论和实践价值；

2. The paper must be a new work not yet published, generally 10,000 to 15,000 words in length, using page-bottom footnotes. It should be preceded by an abstract (about 300 words), keywords (3–5), an author biography, and detailed contact information. Please follow the publication format of *Science and Atheism*. Outstanding papers may be given priority for publication in *Science and Atheism* after revision.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数一般为10000-15000字，采用页下脚注正文前附内容摘要（300字左右）、关键词（3—5个），作者简介及详细联系方式，具体请以《科学与无神论》的刊发格式为准。优秀稿件经修订后可在《科学与无神论》上优先发表。

This forum charges no registration fee. Transportation and accommodation expenses during the conference are to be borne by the participants. After evaluation by the expert review committee, the conference affairs group will send invitations to selected authors before July 25.

本次论坛不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。经专家评审委员会评选后，会务组将在7月25日前向入选作者发出会议邀请函。
