Advance Notice of the 13th International Communist Movement Forum

On January 5, 2013, at the opening ceremony of the study session on studying and implementing the spirit of the 18th National Congress of the CPC for newly elected members and alternate members of the Party Central Committee [1]1 The 18th National Congress of the CPC was held in November 2012, marking the beginning of the New Era under Xi Jinping's leadership. The study session for newly elected Central Committee members was a standard Party training event., General Secretary Xi Jinping surveyed and summarized the broad history of socialist development, clarifying the status and role of socialism with Chinese characteristics within world socialism. In order to deeply study and implement Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, solidly advance research on the theory and practice of world socialism, and strive to construct an independent knowledge system of world socialism and the international communist movement with Chinese characteristics, Chinese style, and Chinese manner, the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Marxism of Northeast Normal University jointly host the 13th International Communist Movement Forum. This forum is organized by the Research Department of International Communist Movement of the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Faculty of Marxism of Northeast Normal University, and co-organized by the Editorial Department of *Studies on Marxism* and the Editorial Department of *Studies on World Socialism*. It is planned to be held in Changchun, Jilin, on November 1–2, 2025. The specific arrangements for the meeting are as follows:

2013年1月5日，在新进中央委员会的委员、候补委员学习贯彻党的十八大精神研讨班开班式上，习近平总书记考察总结社会主义发展的宏阔历史，阐明了中国特色社会主义在世界社会主义中的地位作用。为深入学习贯彻习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想，扎实推进世界社会主义理论与实践研究，着力构建具有中国特色、中国风格、中国气派的世界社会主义与国际共产主义运动自主知识体系，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院、东北师范大学马克思主义学部联合主办第十三届国际共产主义运动论坛。此次论坛由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院国际共产主义运动研究部、东北师范大学马克思主义学部承办，《马克思主义研究》编辑部、《世界社会主义研究》编辑部协办，拟于2025年11月1—2日在吉林长春召开。会议具体安排如下：

Participation is by paper submission, with selection based on merit; scholars are welcome to submit papers and register. Please send your conference paper to the registration email address gjgylt2025@163.com before October 16, 2025. The email subject line should be formatted as "Name + Institution + Title + Paper Title." After review by the organizing committee, formal invitations will be issued to selected participants. The paper format requirements are as follows:

以文赴会，择优邀请，欢迎学者投稿报名。请于2025年10月16日前将参会论文发送到报名邮箱gjgylt2025@163.com。邮件标题请设为“姓名+单位+职称+论文题目”。组委会组织审核后，对入选人员发出正式邀请。论文格式要求如下：

1. The length should be 8,000–12,000 words, and should include an abstract (within 300 words), keywords (3–5), and an author biography (name, institution, position or title, research direction, etc.).

1、字数以8000-12000字为宜，应包括内容摘要（300字以内）、关键词（3-5个）、作者简介（姓名，单位，职务或职称、研究方向等）。

2. The paper font should be simplified Chinese Song typeface. The title and subtitle should be in size 3 font, the main text in size 5 font, with single line spacing; annotations should use footnotes in size 5 small font; the abstract and keywords should be in size 5 font.

2、论文字体为简体中文宋体。标题副标题均为三号字体，正文为五号字体，单倍行距；注释采用脚注、小五号字体，内容摘要、关键词为五号字体。

This conference charges no registration fee. The conference organizers will provide meals during the meeting. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip travel and accommodation expenses.

本会议不收取任何会务费，会议承办方提供会议餐，参会人员往返交通费、住宿费自理。
