Call for Papers for the 18th National Forum of Young Marxist Scholars

2026 marks the beginning of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the tenth anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important “5·17” speech. [1]1 The “5·17” speech refers to Xi Jinping’s address at a symposium on philosophy and social sciences on May 17, 2016, which called for developing a distinctly Chinese system of discourse in these fields. To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important “5·17” speech, to deeply advance the systematic study and theoretical elucidation of the Party’s innovative theories in the New Era, and to promote the study and exchange of young Marxist scholars nationwide, the 18th National Forum of Young Marxist Scholars, co-hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Central China Normal University, and jointly organized by the School of Marxism of Central China Normal University, the Journal Division of Social Sciences Academic Press, and the Editorial Department of Studies on Marxism, is scheduled to be held in Wuhan, Hubei, from March 27 to 29, 2026. Papers are now being solicited from young Marxist scholars nationwide. We welcome your participation in the forum with your paper.

2026年是“十五五”规划的开局之年，也是习近平总书记“5·17”重要讲话发表十周年。为深入学习贯彻党的二十届四中全会精神和习近平总书记“5·17”重要讲话精神，深入推进新时代党的创新理论体系化研究和学理化阐释，促进全国马克思主义青年学者的学习与交流，由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院与华中师范大学联合主办，华中师范大学马克思主义学院、社会科学文献出版社期刊分社、《马克思主义研究》编辑部共同承办的第十八届全国马克思主义青年学者论坛，拟于2026年3月27-29日在湖北武汉举行。现面向全国马克思主义青年学者征集论文，欢迎大家以文参会。

IV. Submission Requirements

四、稿件要求

This conference adopts a paper-based participation method. Submissions will be reviewed by experts, and invitation letters will be sent to selected authors. The length of the conference paper should be around 10,000-15,000 words, with a clear theme, correct viewpoints, clear argumentation, demonstrating academic rigor and innovation, and must not have been previously published. The paper should be preceded by an abstract (around 300 words), keywords (3-5), and author biography (name, gender, age, work unit, title, position, contact address, contact phone number, email). The main text should follow the submission style of Studies on Marxism.

本次会议采取以文入会的方式，来稿经专家评审后，向入选者发送参会邀请函。参会论文篇幅以1.0-1.5万字为宜，主题鲜明、观点正确、论证清晰，体现学术性和创新性，且未公开发表。论文正文前附内容提要（300字左右）、关键词（3-5个）、作者简介（姓名、性别、年龄、工作单位、职称、职务、联系地址、联系电话、电子邮箱），正文参照《马克思主义研究》投稿体例。

Submitted papers should be sent in Word document format (name + unit + paper title + forum) to the conference email address cassccnu2026@126.com before March 5.

This forum does not charge a registration fee. Transportation and accommodation expenses during the conference are to be borne by participants. After evaluation by the expert review committee, the conference affairs group will send invitation letters to selected authors before March 10.

本次论坛不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。经专家评审委员会评选后，会务组将在3月10日前向入选作者发出会议邀请函。
