Call for Papers from the Marxist Research Network

The Marxist Research Network is an academic theory website supervised by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and run by the Academy of Marxism, with the aim of specifically propagating Marxist theory and Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. It is one of the key Marxist theory websites in the country. The website has more than ten disciplinary columns, including Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, the basic principles of Marxism, and adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times. The Marxist Research Network integrates six core functions: a research-oriented platform, a literature retrieval platform, a reference consultation platform, a results publication platform, an academic exchange platform, and an information integration platform. The website contains tens of thousands of academic entries and provides full-text retrieval services, offering convenient literature consultation and dynamic management tools for a broad range of scientific researchers, university faculty and students, and theoretical workers. In addition, the website integrates high-quality academic resources from the Academy of Marxism, such as information from core journals like *Marxist Studies* and *Studies on World Socialism*, and publishes the latest work updates, academic achievements, and announcements.

马克思主义研究网是由中国社会科学院主管、马克思主义研究院主办，以专门宣传马克思主义理论和习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想为宗旨的学术理论网站，是全国重点马克思主义理论网站之一。网站下设习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想、马克思主义基本原理、马克思主义中国化时代化等十余个学科栏目。马克思主义研究网集成了六大核心功能：研究导向平台、文献检索平台、资料查阅平台、成果发布平台、学术交流平台和信息整合平台 。网站收录了数万条学术信息，并提供全文检索服务，为广大科研人员、高校师生及理论工作者提供便捷的文献查阅和动态管理工具。此外，网站还整合了马研院的优质学术资源，如《马克思主义研究》《世界社会主义研究》等核心期刊的信息，并发布最新的工作动态、学术成果和通知公告。

2026 is the first year of the 15th Five-Year Plan and also the tenth anniversary of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the Symposium on Philosophy and Social Sciences. To thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the CPC and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s “5·17” important speech, the Marxist Research Network now calls for papers from Marxist experts and scholars nationwide.

2026年是“十五五”规划的开局之年，也是习近平总书记在哲学社会科学工作座谈会上发表重要讲话十周年。为深入学习贯彻党的二十届四中全会精神和习近平总书记“5·17”重要讲话精神，马克思主义研究网现面向全国马克思主义专家学者征集论文。

II. Basic requirements for submissions:

1. The work must be the author’s own original, unpublished academic achievement.

1.作品须确为作者本人的未公开发表的原创性学术成果。

2. The article must have a correct political orientation, a clear theme, clear logic, explicit viewpoints, demonstrate academic quality and innovation, possess a certain theoretical depth, and comply with academic norms.

2.文章须政治导向正确、主题鲜明、逻辑清晰、观点明确、体现学术性和创新性，具有一定的理论深度，遵守学术规范。

3. The article should generally be 3,000–4,000 words in length.

3.文章字数一般为3000-4000字。

4. An attachment must be uploaded with a CNKI plagiarism check report showing a rate no higher than 10% and an AI plagiarism check rate of 0%.

4.附件上传知网查重率不高于10%，AI查重率为0的检查报告。

5. The submission letter must indicate the author’s name, institution, professional title, as well as contact information such as postal code, mailing address, and telephone number. If possible, a personal academic CV may be attached.

5.来信须注明作者姓名、单位、职称以及邮政编码、通讯地址、电话号码等联系方式。有条件者，可附个人学术简历。

1. If the author is not informed of further specific handling suggestions within 30 working days, the submission will be considered “rejected,” and the author may dispose of it as they see fit.

2. While respecting the completeness of the author’s viewpoints and arguments, the editors reserve the right to edit and carefully abridge the manuscript. If the author does not agree to any abridgment, they must make a special declaration in advance.
