Call for Papers: Academic Symposium on “Enhancing the Discourse Power of Marxist Ideology in the Digital-Intelligence Era”

In order to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on building a cyber power and his important discourses on ideological work, to proactively respond to the new ideological problems and challenges brought by the profound transformation of digital-intelligence technology, to focus on the major theoretical and practical issues of enhancing the discourse power of Marxist ideology in the digital-intelligence environment, to promote the construction of a Marxist ideological discourse system with strong cohesion and guiding power, and to continuously enhance the discourse power of Marxist ideology in the New Era, it has been decided after research that the National Research Center for Cultural Security and Ideological Construction of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Southwestern University of Finance and Economics will jointly hold the Academic Symposium on “Enhancing the Discourse Power of Marxist Ideology in the Digital-Intelligence Era,” which is scheduled to take place on May 16, 2026, in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. We now call for papers from academic colleagues nationwide, and welcome all to attend the conference with their papers.

为深入学习贯彻习近平总书记关于网络强国的重要思想和关于意识形态工作的重要论述，主动应对数智技术深刻变革带来的意识形态新问题新挑战，聚焦数智环境下马克思主义意识形态话语权提升的重大理论和实践问题，推动构建具有强大凝聚力引领力的马克思主义意识形态话语体系，不断提升新时代马克思主义意识形态话语权，经研究决定，中国社会科学院国家文化安全与意识形态建设研究中心与西南财经大学联合举办“数智时代提升马克思主义意识形态话语权”学术研讨会，拟于2026年5月16日在四川省成都市举行。现面向全国学界同仁征集论文，欢迎诸位以文赴会。

IV. Submission Requirements

四、稿件要求

This symposium adopts a paper-based participation method, and warmly invites researchers, teaching staff, and graduate students from national research institutions, universities, Party schools, and other units to actively submit papers.

本次论坛采取以文入会方式，诚邀全国科研机构、高校、党校等单位的研究人员、教学人员、研究生等积极投稿。

Submission Requirements:

稿件要求：

1. The paper must have a correct stance, a clear theme, rigorous logic, and a combination of historical and theoretical analysis, reflecting academic quality and innovation, with high theoretical and practical value;

1.立场正确、主题鲜明、逻辑严谨、史论结合，体现学术性和创新性，具有较高的理论和实践价值；

2. The paper must be an unpublished new work, generally 8,000 to 12,000 words in length, using page footnotes, specifically following the publication format of *Marxist Studies*. It should include an abstract (approximately 300 words), keywords (3–5), and the author’s biography and detailed contact information.

2.论文为尚未发表的新作，字数一般为8000-12000字，采用页下脚注，具体请以《马克思主义研究》的刊发格式为准。正文前附内容摘要（300字左右）、关键词（3—5个），作者简介及详细联系方式。

This symposium does not charge a registration fee; transportation and accommodation expenses during the conference are to be borne by participants. After selection by the expert review committee, the organizing committee will send conference invitation letters to selected authors before May 5. The conference will recommend outstanding papers to *Marxist Studies* and *World Socialism Studies* for publication.

本次论坛不收取会务费，会议期间交通费、住宿费等自理。经专家评审委员会评选后，会务组将在5月5日前向入选作者发出会议邀请函。会议将遴选优秀论文向《马克思主义研究》《世界社会主义研究》推荐发表。
