Call for Papers for the Seventh National Forum on the Study of Marxism Abroad

In order to deepen the study of Marxism abroad and promote academic exchange and cooperation, the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences will host the "Seventh National Forum on the Study of Marxism Abroad." This forum, with the theme "The Study of Marxism Abroad under the Construction of an Autonomous Knowledge System," aims to implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Symposium on Philosophy and Social Sciences, and to promote the deepening development of the study of Marxism abroad in the direction of autonomy and systematization. The main content of the conference (including but not limited to) is as follows:

为深入推进国外马克思主义研究，促进学术交流与合作，中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院将主办“第七届全国国外马克思主义研究论坛”。本次论坛以“自主知识体系构建下的国外马克思主义研究”为主题，旨在贯彻落实习近平总书记在哲学社会科学工作座谈会上的重要讲话精神，推动国外马克思主义研究向自主性、体系化方向深化发展。会议主要内容（包括但不限于）：

2. The Chinese paradigm for the study of Marxism abroad

3. Theories of foreign communist parties and Marxism in the 21st century

This forum is hosted by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, organized by the Department for the Study of Marxism Abroad, and co-organized by Xingyi Normal University for Nationalities in Guizhou. The conference is scheduled for late June to early July 2026 (specific dates to be announced separately), with a duration of one and a half days, and the venue will be Xingyi City, Guizhou Province.

本次论坛由中国社会科学院马克思主义研究院主办，国外马克思主义研究部承办，贵州兴义民族师范学院协办。会议时间定于2026年6月底至7月初（具体日期另行通知），会期一天半，会议地点为贵州省兴义市。

Submission requirements are as follows: Submitted papers must focus on the above topics, be unpublished, and have academic and innovative content; the length of the paper should generally be 8,000–12,000 words, and the format should follow the style of the journal *World Socialism Studies* (including title, abstract, keywords, author biography, contact information, etc.); the full text (or long abstract) of the paper should be sent to the designated email address by May 31, 2026; the email subject line should indicate "Seventh Forum on Marxism Abroad + Author's Name + Paper Title"; the forum organizing committee will organize experts to review the submitted papers, and those accepted will receive a formal invitation to attend the conference by June 10, 2026.

征文要求如下：投稿论文须围绕上述议题，未公开发表，内容具有学术性、创新性；论文字数一般以8000—12000字为宜，格式请参照《世界社会主义研究》期刊体例（含标题、摘要、关键词、作者简介、联系方式等）；请于2026年5月31日前将论文全文（或长摘要）发送至指定邮箱；邮件主题请注明“第七届国外马论坛+作者姓名+论文题目”；论坛组委会将组织专家对投稿论文进行评审，通过者将于2026年6月10日前收到正式参会邀请函。

This forum does not charge a registration fee. Participants are responsible for their own round-trip transportation and accommodation expenses, while meals during the conference will be arranged uniformly by the organizer. Specific check-in location and schedule will be notified separately in the invitation letter.

本次论坛不收取会务费，参会代表往返交通费、住宿费自理，会议期间餐饮由承办方统一安排。会议具体报到地点及日程安排，将在邀请函中另行通知。

Scholars, experts, young teachers, and doctoral students in the field of Marxist studies, both domestic and international, are welcome to submit papers.
