The reason Marxism has had such a profound influence lies in its use of deep scholarly principles to reveal the truth of the development of human society and its complete system to demonstrate the scientific nature of its theory. Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has attached great importance to building the Party through ideology and strengthening the Party through theory, insisting on integrating the basic tenets of Marxism with China’s specific realities and with the fine traditional Chinese culture, thereby establishing Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and achieving a new leap in adapting Marxism to the Chinese context and the needs of the times. Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era was founded and developed on the basis of accurately discovering Chinese problems, profoundly analyzing Chinese problems, and striving to resolve Chinese problems, embodying a strong consciousness of Chinese problems. This is true for the Party’s theoretical innovation, and it is equally true for theoretical research. Deepening the systematic and theoretical research and interpretation of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era cannot be separated from in-depth research on and answers to China’s concrete practical problems. First, specific problems must be sorted out. In the face of the various problems in China today, either ignoring them or exaggerating them is erroneous.
