The fighting spirit is a characteristic of Marxist theory. Marxism profoundly reveals that the unity of opposites of contradiction is the fundamental law of the development of things, and profoundly reveals the universality of struggle and its role in promoting the development of things. The theory of social formations, a core content of historical materialism, reveals the laws of human social evolution from the perspective of the contradictory movement between productive forces and relations of production, and between the economic base and the superstructure. Struggle is precisely an important aspect of this contradictory movement.
